mndymond - 2010-08-19 8:11 AM I think I need more to hit up Vegas than just a toothbrush and underwear! Hahaha. Just sayin!

If you plan your trip right, you only need HALF of Ann's recommended packing list.

Please tell me you mean the toothbrush!

I am going out on a limb here and saying I believe he was!

That's a relief. Furry teeth are no good to anybody!

Of course I meant the toothbrush! That and some deodorant, and I don't see what else she could possibly need!

Haha. So I only need a toothbrush then? Maybe the new swim suit I bought yesterday too. And some shoes...and some dresses...and makeup...

I am having trouble deciding what to do in September.

There are two small sprint tris ..... one on Labor Day and one a few weeks later.  Neither are chip timed, so I won't really know my OWS swim time which I really would like to compare to my pool swim time.  My other issue is balancing the the rest of my life.  LOL     I also would like to do a 12k this Sunday.  But DH wants to go to the beach and work on redoing our deck.  Both of which I am okay with but that means no 12K.

Aaahhh, don't mind me.  I am just babbling on...

On the other hand, I did Relay for Life this past weekend.  I signed up to do 2 AM to 6 AM.  I walked 4 miles, jogged 9 miles, then walked another 3 miles  and felt great.  I was really happy with my jogging pace and stamina.  Looks like I am ready to start training for a 1/2 marathon.

Wish it could be Carlsbad, but that is too far away.

Don't worry about the swim times, do the tri's and have fun. For the rest of it, I got nothing. Maybe skip the 12k if you are going to do the tri's and go to the beach with the hubby. Good luck with whatever you decide.

OK Ghoulies, Im outta here. I discovered a huge nursery about a half hour from here so I'm taking the wifey on a little field trip. I want to see how much an avocado tree costs - I would LOVE to have one of those in the back yard! Take it easy everyone!

I am tentatively scheduled for surgery next Wednesday to ream out sinuses and put ear stints in. I have to wait for insurancce approval before they can put it in stone.

There are some good deals on plane tickets right now. I can get a roundtrip from Charlotte for $325.

That does not sound fun!

No but hopefully I will be able to wake up with out a headache, have better balance (tired of falling off the MTB so much) and be able to SWIM again.
