Wow, everyone must have taken the holiday off!  LOL

I had a busy day at work yesterday, so my only exercise was a 20 minute walk with the dog.  Frown  Nice but not a workout!

I have work this morning and early afternoon.  Then my long run.  8.5 miles.  Hope the wind and rain cooperate .. especially the wind.

I have upped my frequency and mileage of running (jogging) this month as I started a 1/2 marathon plan.  So far so good, but I am so slow that it is hard to find enough time!  Undecided

We are still here.  Yesterday was just a day off.  Really cold weather and by body said enough is enough.  So today I am going for a short run with the dog and then heading to the gym.  Have to get it in since they close at noon on Friday.

Colorado - We have family about an hour and a half east of Denver.  Straight out 76 to Ft Morgan/Brush area.  We would love to move there in a few years.  We shall see.

Next year we are planning on a driving trip back there.  To see family but also check out a possible job option in western CO  --  Montrose area.

Montrose is nice.  I lived in Durango for about 8 years growing up.  It sure has changed since then.  Montrose can get hot in the summer but you are always close to mountains to cool off.  I don't think they get a large volume of snow either.

My sister lives in Spokane so I go up there once a year for a race.  Help encourage her to lose weight.  She is down almost 100 and doing great.  Has really good friends and support up there that help her out.  We did our first tri in July at the Aurora res.  She did a great job considering she was near drown by someone in the first 50 yards of the swim and the bike was 3 sizes too big for her.  A bunch of rolling hills and she never shifted since it was too long of a reach.   2011 we are doing the Valley Girl Tri somewhere around Spokane.  Hope I can do a road trip and spend a week up there.

Hi guys, unfortunately I have not done anything tri training wise all week with the vertigo hanging arounds. I scratched myself from my meet tomorrow and Sunday. Sigh* That's how it goes I guess. Glad I got this now though and not next May/June!

I might try to go for a short spin or run today...I've got some cleaning to do and then I'm going to a friend's concert tonight. Hopefully I can get back on track soon!

I am behind on my strength goals but doing fine with the run. The bike and swim are for later in the month, anyway. I did re-up my pool membership yesterday so I am good to go when I get back from Fla. I would bet the water is too cold for my blood down there, but I'll try it out at least.

Have great weekends all.

I had a really good run yesterday.  My running goal is coming along wonderfully.  But I have GOT to get on the bike!  I may wind up having to use the stationary bike.  Frown

I am a little behind on the biking as I wasn't feeling well last week and took a little time off, but I got in an hour+ today.  Weight goals are going well though!

Good work everyone!

Did an 8 mile race today.  I'm happy with my time.  It was a faster pace than a few years ago before I got pregnant!  Whooppee!!!

My son is coming down with a cold so I can't go to the gym to get my planned run done.  I may go for a run at lunchtime if his daddy can watch him.  I have a planned trainer session for tonight.  We'll see what happens.  The run takes priority so if that is all that gets done today, then so be it.

*ANNOUNCEMENTS*

CONGRATULATIONS to Rachel of the CRUSHERS, who won the guess-Judi-run bonus round, so she gets an extra 15% added to her final total at the end.

ALSO ...

GHOULISH at 33% are *almost* caught up to the CRUSHERS at 35%

... but both teams are still waaaaay under where we're at in the month, so it's anybody's game!

So break out the kettlebells, keep shakin' those booties, writing your Pulitzer prize piece, whatever it is ... and WIN!!!
