Weighed in at 219.4.

Didn't lose much but didn't gain so I'm OK with that considering the past week.

OK, so weigh in this morning was down half pound from last week.  It is a small but significant victory in a long battle!

Please excuse the war metaphor.

I'm Proud of Myself!!

After a small, healthy breakfast I was offered a doghnut, a CHOCOLATE doghnut from my favorite shop...I declined.

Starting Weight (01/05): 149
Week 1 (01/12): 148.4
Week 2 (01/19): 147.4

Just joined in and updated the spreadsheet too!

My first tri is on Sunday - 03/20/11 - Tri for the Cure

My "GOAL" would be 130 by the end of this challenge.  I had originally set the goal to be at 140 by my Tri.

This past week has been kinda crappy due to work stress and then everyone in my family getting sick.

I'm joining up with the other momma's in here trying to get rid of the baby weight.    I also contribute my soreness to being older - but I definitely feel every work out a lot more than I did even just 5 years ago.  I will try the glucosamine as well!

darn it. Doc says probable stress fracture to be confirmed by MRI. I am hoping so, those heal better than soft tissue damage, usually. Guess I'll see how much I can lose by just swimming and tighter diet control for the next few weeks

I'd like to join in too. I'm probably 145# and I'd like to be 130#. I wasn't going to weigh myself until February 1 at which time I was planning on miraculously being under 140. But I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning and get my starting point bad news. Fifteen pounds in fifteen weeks sounds perfect And speaking of perfect, eight hours into the day and I have tracked all food and gotten in a five-mile run. If I can do eight hours, what's the next fifteen weeks????

Drag!!!  You know, a couple years ago I had a real bad sprained ankle and couldnt do much at all for a few weeks.  Used that time to focus on diet and core.  Lots of crunches, pushups, planks, etc as ankle could tolerate.  Was a great way to focus on some other stuff!  Was hard not running, swimming, etc., but the core work paid off down the line!!  So, all is not lost!

I'm now on the spreadsheet.  Well, I was 147.4, not 145, but I didn't weigh myself until after my first cup of coffee.  I had no idea that a cup of coffee weighed two pounds.

I tracked my food yesterday and today.  I got in a short, but hilly, bike ride this morning.  I'm calling it base building.

Hey All,
How was the weekend? We hosted a party and I went a little overboard on the eating of treats.
I tried to counteract that with a 100 mile ride on Saturday, but I think the treats won.

2lbs?  Thats a big cuppa coffee!  That's why I do double espresso!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.   My Bears lost, but other than that it was OK.

Missed my Sunday workout and ate like crap all weekend (son had a b-day; so dinner, cake, etc).  Today my clothes feel tight.  I'll starve myself for a couple days to make weight.

I didn't do much this weekend but go into REI and ask them how much it costs for a tune up on a bike.    But hey, at least I was 'thinking' about riding it.  haha!

I did run around with the kiddos quite a bit, so that's always good for some calories burned.

I downloaded an 8 week training program from tridivas.com since I only have 8 wks to go until my first tri.

Hope everyone has a great week!

I weighed in this week.  168.4 - down 1 lb from last week....FINALLY going in the right direction!  However, I'm still up 1.7 from starting this challenge.

I think my weigh in would have been better, but I did some heavy-duty weight-lifting yesterday, and am SUPER sore this morning (which usually means you're carrying around extra water for muscle repair).

Just gonna keep this up.  I really feel good about last week, and if I can continue with this pattern, then I'm pretty sure I can meet my 15 in 15 still :-D
