Yes, but it is more than that now.  The IM 70.3 Raleigh Facebook page stated that 2250 will be allowed to race and earlier this week a post was made that only 100 slots were left.  At this point, a minimum of 2150 have signed up (assuming everything posted is true)

Yes, but not everyone checks the box to "share" their info when they register.

I can attest as of one of them who did not.  Did not read that choice correct when I registered and unchecked the box.  Awesome to see such a great response.

FB says they are officially sold out and Active shows general entry on hold with 2217 viewable sign-ups.

I am stoked for this race.  It's going to be good.

The water could possibly be wetsuit legal on June 2 next year, but even if it is, the water will be warm enough that a wetsuit will not be "necessary".

ETA:  I just remembered that Ironman and Ironman 70.3 races have different wetsuit cut-offs vs regular USAT races.  I'm going to say that it will not be wetsuit legal according to Ironman rules.
