I noticed over the weekend that I have double lives! I have an Ipad and Ipod and both keep all my lives separate. Still doesn't matter though, still can't get past level 147 now. Too hard.

I thought it was just me. I loaded it up on droid and now I have 5 on the ipad and if I go through them, 5 on the phone. I'm not sure if I also have 5 on FB...

I can't get a third ticket to unlock 50. So I have been going back trying to get three stars on all the lower levels. Almost have it done.

All right so I was born blond and I'm a ditz sometimes. I didn't understand WHAT THE JELLIES look like. I thought they were the green squares (only!). So I was just trying to clear the green squares. Then it hit me, it is the CLEAR SQUARES the candies move into. DUH! No wonder I was stuck on Level 13 for 2 weeks! Now I have it all figured out and I'm cruising through the levels much faster!

*smacks forehead*..

No worries. I'm unhappy with all the permissions the games needs as well. I figure I get about 50 game requests a day that I end up blocking, people can do the same with mine. But usually I'm against clutter.

I was a bit disappointed you needed FB to play the game and it asks for so much access. One of the worst I have seen.

I know I SHOULD know. But is there a way to predict which row a striped candy takes out? Vert or horz? If I knew that, I COULD plan for it. There have been times if it took out a horizontal row, it would have set me up nicely (taken out a row of jellies, for example). But it would go vertical, and do nothing for me.

I just noticed how this works the other day. When making a striped candy (I feel like a 12 year old when I type this) and if you swipe it left or right to create it or up an down, that becomes the direction of the stripe.

I generally make them whenever I get them. I guess if you can make them vertical or horizontal, I'll consider that. But regardless on how you make your set of 4 (and the striped candy),the stripe direction on the candy tells you the direction of the "explosion" (can't think of another name for it)? I never noticed the stripes had different orientation.

HATE the chocolates! HATE THEM! They made the relaxing nature of the game no longer so relaxing. I get tense when those bast-ards keep multiplying. NO TENSE. FUN. I WANT JUST RELAXING FUN!

I tried another 10th times tonight. Those chocolates may be the final nail in the coffin for me. I spend the whole time rushing just trying to control them instead if making progress. I finally get rid of them all and take a breath but have a half dozen moves left to clear the board. No fun.

Getting through a hard Candy Crush level is like hitting a perfect golf shot.

You are ready to give the game up, then hit the perfect shot, which keeps you coming back for more.

I was stuck on level 79 for DAYS. It's stupid hard. Used up every single free boost I had to no avail. Got ridiculously lucky and was able to combine a spotted candy with a striped candy and blow out most of the board. Still barely finished trying to get the last few hard to reach jellies.

Need one more ticket to open up 81-95 (or something like that).

I've made it to 140 now.

I play predominantly on my iPad. But when I get super stuck on a level, I go to my computer and log in through Facebook.

Levels are way easier!

If I recall, I used the last of all my free boosts on that level. I was so frustrated that I used three at one time just to get by it.

I'm happy to say I still haven't paid a penny to that game... But who knows. I'm on 91 now, and it's a tough one.

If you use that with two other blue colours of the same set it can turn into something useful. IE Bomb or a stripe.

I am on level 159 now. Completed 9 levels in a row yesterday. Now it sucks again lol

102 is my roadblock right now.

On occasion, I have googled "candy crush level xxx" and you get responses like "How to do level 102 without boosts" and they point to a youtube video.

But it just shows someone doing the level and they get the polka dot candy combined with a striped candy TWICE...

Oh, THAT'S how you do it! Just combine polka dot with striped... THAT happens whenever I want. .
