Of course it is! Thank you so much!

'Twas my spider, too.

I got my first tattoo this past summer and already want another one.  I've been thinking on the design for a month now.  I think this winter I'm going to have to go see an artist or two and see what they can do for me.

What what what? Don't be sittin' on it now! Inquiring minds and tattooed bodies want to know!

Current tattoo is a fish on a bike on my left rib-cage.  I really would like to get a pin-up like mermaid tattoo on my right rib cage.  And in sticking with the triathlon theme, I'm thinking she should be holding a pair of winged-sandles.

Oooh - LOVE the sound of both of those!
I just have one. I've played rugby for many years and follow it obsessively so I have the England rugby rose on my back. I really want another one on my ribcage but by the time I decide what to have I suspect I will be old and wrinkly as Ive been thinking about it for a good 2 years so far!

Ghoulie Crushers! I'm no longer the unemployed Ghoulie Crusher!

I went to the second interview for the clinic inside of a commercial gym today. After completing a scenario based interview I was told that I was the favorite candidate from the first interview and my scenario skills further proved my ability.

I was offered the job on the spot, which caught me a bit off guard and had me thinking about the other two opportunities possibly available to me at the moment. I accepted and hope I made the right choice!

Free gym membership!

OMG - AWESOME NEWS! CONGRATULATIONS!

Common man, I am trying to drop some lbs and you mention pb and cc cookies Tongue out

It wasn't very smart to make them either. It didn't take long to eat half a dozen.

mbasta - 2010-10-19 4:30 PM Have you considered an algae sucker fish for your algae problem?

It's not really an algae problem - it's called blue-green algae but it's actually a cyanobacteria.  The sucker fish don't eat it.  I do have a clown plecostomus in my big tank.  All he does is look cute.

He is a very nice looking fish.

Thats awesome!
I already have tickets for 8 games of the world cup next year in NZ. I'm afraid that the All Blacks will probably choke again, especially playing at home, and sadly I'm not sure England have it in them right now but I will be cheering for them and talking them up - they can do amazing things when the pressure is on! Can't wait!!!

Ok, really got to get to work now...

That would be totally awesome to be able to go to some games. I've never been to a "real" rugby game. NZ is a little more than I can afford right now with my son in college though.

Awesome! My shin is a bit sore from the weekend and not loving the impact right now but I'll do what I can this week and no doubt have a crazy one next week to get on target!

Just realised I need to swim every other day to hit that target but that shouldn't be a problem, just boooooring....

Welcome to my world, Rachel. Undecided

I feel for you, I really do. I know lots of people find it relaxing, calming, peaceful, whatever, but I don't!  Plus I have a tonne of one arm drills to do right now which work just fine on one side but on the other I end up nearly drowning. I'm sure it looks hilarious to anyone watching!

Are you learning to breathe bilaterally? Because this sounds exactly what I looked like when I was teaching myself. (looks/feels like drowning)

hee hee - yep - you guessed it! How on earth can it be so easy on one side and so impossible on the other?!

I PROMISE that it will get easier. I almost gave up... I was so angry that I felt like drowning all of the time. It took me about 3 weeks to stop being angry and about 6 when it became just as easy on both sides.

A little Tuesday night music video fun with Belle and Sebastian.  Kinda makes me want to go for a run.

I'm off to finish cooking dinner and get a little time in on the trainer.  Later, kids!

I actually love strength training, just not in this frequency and I don't do well with obligatory work outs. Running is different because I can switch up the days.

I was told to contact Monday (trial work day) potential employer and notify them that I've received and offer, in case they plan on making me one just in case it's better. I think I will do that in the morning just so that I can say I tried to do what's best and not second guess it if I get a call in a week or two.

I have an overactive conscience... it causes me to have a hard time breaking commitments such as the one today when I said I would work there. What do you say when you're in an interview room with someone asking you to tell them immediately if you will work there? "Umm... let me just call my other potential job first..." No!

Both jobs have a lot of potential.

Does anyone else here find it strange that an employer would ask for references AFTER they verbally offered you the job and you accepted?

Not really. I had the same thing. The corp office requires it so they are going through the motions to do what is required. I was hired by a company and the corp office was still calling to get references months after I was hired. In fact one of the references that didn't respond was still getting letters requesting references after I had left the company. I thought that was a little crazy.

Just finished up my bike session on the trainer.  Been a long day of classes and studying so I was exhausted so I had talked myself out of the 13 miles I had originally planned and decided on just doing 10.  Well 30 minutes in I was feeling great so i ended up doing the full 13 miles.  Felt great to have such a nice bike session on the trainer after what's been such a stressful day.  This is why I love triathlon training

mbasta - 2010-10-19 8:10 PM Does anyone else here find it strange that an employer would ask for references AFTER they verbally offered you the job and you accepted?

I find it very strange.
