Sharkie - 2009-05-17 10:53 AM WHYYYYYY do people think that snarky comments are acceptable forms of communication??
That and profanity are my ONLY means of communication. If it's snarky: I'm happy. Profanity = PO'ed.

No.. This was a mean snarky from the STBX..  I was checking my email this morning and his comment was...  "Did you wake up and RUN to the computer this morning?"

I felt it was uncalled for and a very immature way to communicate.

want me to punch him for ya?

I know that you're already supporting your kids, going through a divorce, etc.  But if you have the avail funds I would just 'add' a rodie to the stable.  I ride my road bike a LOT more than my tri-bike..  But it's still nice to have my tri-bike for races.

true.. that would just mean i'd have to wait and be patient.... :D

Tough.  Was supposed to be a tri, then became a du because a storm came in at the beginning of the swim.  Also delayed start.  I only biked, but it was tough.  About 14 miles into the wind.  Ugh.

way to htfu there artemis... well done!

I rode my longest ride today 45+miles... some major hills... route tracker says 1900+ feet of climbing... I disagree...  heartily... but I did hit a new max speed 50.8 mph...

see!

That's a sweet top speed on a bike Akustix!

I was really happy with my ride today.  Just under 40 miles, top speed of just under 40mph.  Was able to sprint for a little over a minute at 30mph. (on the flat with little/no wind)

Some roadie joined up with us and I talked with him for about 5 mins before we dropped him.  Had complaints about everything: Pace, route, no pace line, people using aerobars, bike handling skills (which didn't matter because he couldn't keep up), the fact that we were using tri-bikes, etc...  It's like he didn't see that we were all part of a tri team.

Hi Chad!

Mebbe. I'll be in and out and around, ooooh just the way I like it.

Besides, I have a Conundrum. And even if you just scratch your head and say Wow, that IS a Conundrum, it'll keep you busy for a few seconds.

b) Did you scream like a little girl on that downhill?

not at all... the stop sign at the bottom of the hill did make me suck in my breath a little... which was good since I had been holding it from about halfway down the hill.

the really awesome thing though... my bike didn't act any differently at 50 than at say 40... I love the way my bike handles.

Great ride Dan... the roadie... well, yeah...
