Hey-I only have a second, but I wanted to drop a quick note. 

I just got up from a 2 hour nap.  It was the first sleep I had since yesterday morning(4:45am).  Dave was a little behind on his packing so I gave him a hand.  Worked right through the night, buzzed to school for my morning lecture(well, half of it anyway) and ditched 4 hours early, helped Dave finish up, and gave him a ride to the airport.

There is absolutely no way that he would have made his flight-let alone get everything done.

 A fun note...I have a new bike!  It is magnesium and carbon fiber.  well, I guess that it isn't for me, but I am the proud caretaker of Dave's baby.  I will be mailing it to him later-after I give it an incredible amount of TLC. 

I need to run to an interview, but will be back in a hour or two if anyone is around.

Not having a laptop at home is really interfering with my BT time.  Andy may have been convinced to let me get a new one, especially because I found a great deal on the previous model of Mac Book.  It's a new computer, but they replaced it with a newer model.

Dear cretin in the 7th grade,

You are a 78 lb prepubescent dweeb.  My daughter is a 5'5" tall child weighing 127 lbs.  Last I looked that is a normal bmi.  She is not fat.  You are a jerk.  She comes from a very long line of obese people but she is not obese, she is not even fat.  Don't go putting your weakling body iage issues on a normal sized child...you'll be answering to her tough as nails triathlete mother who will procede to knock you into next week

Can't win at all.  If I pa ck early, I spend a lot of time adding things in at the last minute, so I try not to do that too much.

Right now, I just have my stuff out in piles and that helps me organize.

I get so lovie-dovie when I am tired... I want to ramble about wonderful everyone is and give out hugs to all, but I really need to get a good night's sleep so rambling will need to be put off until another day.

OMG...seriously!!  Your daughters are not fat at all!  They look great.

If you need some back up, I'd be more than happy.  Not that you can't handle it on your own, I just hate when people do that to girls.

esc - 2008-11-27 9:16 AM Drive by hello.  I'm at work and don't want to be.  I have to work on my performance review carp.  I should maybe start taking notes about the things I accomplish through the year.  I can barely remember what I did yesterday let alone what I did six months ago!

Oh joy - each year I say I will take notes and I never do! Ever... 

Last one I did was a stand up powerpoint presentation... it worked well in the end because since my job is to devise the way to sell programmes and find supporting data/research etc it was kind of like proving I could do the job to sell myself... 

Cant imagine that strategy would work for you though!

Hi Nibbs! Im guessing everyone is probably off preparing for the holidays...

 

I decided on my party dress last night... I just have NO IDEA what to wear with it, make up, hair etc etc etc... 

I tried taking a picture of it but it wont come out because its layered and my camera is crap and doesnt really pick up the details... 

But is something like this: But its 4 layer/tiers and all in black, knee length and the straps are a bit thicker: 

The shoes i bought dont work... Im going to need some sort of closed toe not strappy thing to make my legs look pretty...

But Im worried I need some colour... and that I need something to make me stand out or look different rather than just me in a black dress... and it doesnt show off my clevage (very unusual for any thing i find that suits me which is a big part of the dresses appeal)
