It's funny how a 3 hour marathon destroyed my legs; and yet I can walk around fine two days after a 12 hour Ironman. But the strange thing is, OVERALL ... I will feel fine a week or two (tops) from now; whereas it took me a full two months to feel recovered from the Ironman distance. Looking forward to reviewing my Race year and putting thoughts to paper; errrr... keyboard. A few of you also have left to write your YEAR END REVIEW. Including: reviewing the goals you wrote down in January. Self-examining how you went about achieving them. Pulling out the positives; and (hopefully) offering solutions on how to achieve in areas where we fell short of meeting our goals.  * Those who are injured and have missed goals due to injury, I would suggest just setting the same goals for next year. Mike and Ted, your injuries were just bad luck. Not your fault. |
