Tell me about it. I've been a geo bachelor since Sept 13. It suuuuucks.

I miss my wife and kids so much I cry at stupid stuff on TV...

And I hate having long phone calls about nothing. It makes it worse...

I know...  She calls and I pretty much want to get off the phone because it's just filler and I hate that...  But I miss her a LOT.  Then I get drunk and say sappy stuff on Facebook about her...

We are meeting up in St. Louis in a week.  That should be awesome.

Envious.

I can't even remember what it is like to have someone to miss.

YAY!!!  Just got back from sending all of the paperwork to the lawyers to get my Green Card application sent in!!! 

I'm SO happy that's done! 

Congrats.  I'm sure that's a big reliefe.

Thanks Jim!  It's a HUGE relief... though it still has to go from the lawyers to the powers that be at USCIS - not out of the woods yet - but it's a big step towards good things!

Black Ops II is damn fun.

Just wondering if there's some kind of weird planetary alignment currently given the bizarre news these days. Aside from miltary 'affairs' theres Arafats body being exhumed, text messages falling in the US first time ever, and a NZ man being bailed after pleading not guilty to planning to throw a bucket of horse manure on visiting Prince Charles, following which he says 'there's always next time'....

Oh and not to be forgotten is the story just breaking that Holiday Inn's are being used as jails in China.

Two major rules for a stress free day:

1) Stay out of Tri Talk

2) Don't read the news!!  It will just make you crazy.

My stomach does a little turn every time a see that cooking liver headline.

I just ordered a Mac computer.  I have never been an Apple fan.  Now I'm also not a Dell or PC fan either.  I figure what the heck.  Let's see how the other half lives.  For those who want to know details, I got a MacBook Pro 15" with the super duper Retina display, and

• 2.6GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
• 16GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
• 512GB Flash Storage

Now all the cool kids will be saying, how come that geezer has a Mac? Is that allowed?  Then, they will find some new yuppy computer to say is the coolest thing yet.
