I love the pink bar tape and wheels...

Where are the pink AEROBARS?! Or Aerobars for that matter?!

Is it bad I am getting my wife aerobars and an aerodrink system for our anniversary?

They are much EASIER TO SHOP FOR KNOW!!! I love it... My wife knows that EVERY year she gets from a Tri Shop, or REI!!! ALWAYS!

I'd marry you!   If I'm good Santa will give me aerobars for Christmas!  The pink wheels were for my birthday!

And I look like such a tool!!  I had just climbed a hill when the photographer jumped in front of me.  Ya gotta smile for the camera!

After seeing 'gstring' in the address I was really disappointed when I clicked on the link.

Doesn't look like you were suffering too much

Still waiting to get back to training, I went to the Dr. yesterday and he was concerned that my ankle and foot were swolen.  Something about the road rash causing some circulation issues.  Have to take 2x Epsom salt baths + antibiotics and back to the Dr. Next week.

Seroiusly how do I turn simple road rash into a real issue....

Sorry to hear that.  I had no idea that rash could cause something like that.  Hopefully it's an infection that will get cleared up with the meds.

HAHA my legs aren't that hairy actually.

It seems to be getting better now, but ankle and foot are still swollen, he wasn't worried much about the road rash itself.  Just annoying, I need to get back on the bike, run and swim...

My hip has been really sore after my last two 2.4 mile runs this week, so I made an appt w/ a chiropractor this morning.  Turns out she’s an acupuncturist/chiropractor and I’m more than a little skeptical listening to her “sales pitch.”  Anyway, she sticks a couple needles in my hand and my hip feels better immediately – really weird.  She puts a few more needles in my arms and legs and I hang out for 20 minutes.  Right now I can’t even tell I had hip pain this morning.  Baffled would be a good way to describe my outlook right now.

I can't even begin to understand how that stuff works - baffled is definitely a good description!  It'll be interesting to see how you feel after your next run.

Before the hip issue, I would have said my goal was sub-2hr (maybe 1:50).  Now I'm just going out to finish and get my stinkin' medal.  If I could run at the pace of my last long run I'd be thrilled, but I'm not sure that's going to happen.

good luck Matt. You'll do fine. The hip will just slow you down a bit. Focus on the fact that you are still going out and doing the race. There's lots of other people who would use that as an excuse not to do womething. Of course they're not on this website and especially not in this group.

Anyone else racing this weekend?
