Does vitamin C really help you guys? I try it every time but don't notice a difference. I will down some though just in case it helps.

I heard strawberries have an obnoxious amount of vitamin c in them... have a whole bag for lunch today.

Well, I survived yesterday's escapades with my son's 3rd grade field trip to the museum!  What a great time, but feel quite drained trying to herd "the cats" running hither and dither.

What museum?

Milwaukee Museum - It wasn't too bad.  My son's teacher has a phobia of "flying things" and was having a difficult time in the butterfly room.  I told her that I'll watch her group of kids and she can leave so she wouldn't freak anymore.

She's a cool teacher - young, pretty, has a great sense of humor, very pleasant, and her husband does tris, and she's trying to get into them, too.

lisac957 - 2008-05-09 10:41 AM BOO I am getting sick. I blame mr2tony. Things going on this weekend in which I DON'T WANNA BE SICK FOR: - Parade tonight. Tom is in it for his army unit. I wanted to watch. - Party tonight after the parade - 10K run tomorrow morning, already signed up - My MBA Graduation tomorrow afternoon - Dinner with my parents after graduation - HUGE party tomorrow night - Girl's night/girlfriend coming to town from STL I haven't seen forever - 50-mile bike ride Sunday morning - Mother's day CRAP!

I'm not a doctor, I just look like a guy who plays one on tv... HOWEVER.. when I feel like I'm getting sick I take 2000mg of Vitamin C, and it usually kicks it.

Worth a shot.

....

I thought it was oral?  *drum and snare rim shot*

I've been to that Butterfly Room.  A bit creapy if you ask me.  Kind of a Silence of the Lambs things going on there.  Went on field trips there as a kid which lead to some strange feelings starting looking at the scantilly clad Indian Native American exhibits.

I think it does. Airborne I think REALLY makes a difference if you take it early early early (like now) and as often as you can.

Airborne doesn't really do anything special.  You'd get the same effect from taking some vitamin c and zinc.

I like the Milwaukee museum.  Especially the Rainforest and the one exhibit where the T Rex is eating the other dinosaur.

The term that was used when I was there was "that's different" or "that's inappropriate".

When the my group of 3 boys were by the African "elephant in the bamboo" exhibit, I told them that I had a joke for them.  I told them to look at how big the elephant was, and then told them to look how big the elephant's feet were.  Then I asked them, "What is red and found on the bottom of the elephant's feet"?  The little guys looked perplexed and said "I don't know".  "Slow pygmies"!  They looked at me, and asked "What are pygmies"?  So I had to explain that pygmies were "little persons that lived in Africa".  It took a few seconds, but they cracked up big time.  I told the teacher later and she laughed.

Yeah, the stegosaurus' internals were displayed.  You get either the "COOL" or the "EEEEWWWW, GROSS" reaction.  Most of the "human" displays looked quite real.

I have tried to get those zinc cough drops done...they make me teh barfy.  =)  Can you take zinc in a pill for same effect/affect?

I have some Zinc lozenges.  You can pick them up at a WalMart, from what I remember.
