I'd stay where you are... but I'm partial to basements....

Hmmm...it IS nice kind of having my own space down there.

Pros of basement:

Own space (at least right now), convenience to "training room", not having to move stuff

Cons of basement:

Spiders and other creepy crawlies, freezing cold all year, esp. in winter (as in, I slept IN my down sleeping bag under my covers), you can hear everyone walking around in the kitchen or coming in late, bath tub and more closet space in upstairs rooms.

It's a draw. But I have a few weeks to think about it.

Cat and Wurkit, I'm pretty sure you both need a new jersey.

Go buy one from chainlove so we can see what's next

Ooh, that actually is really cute and a unique color that would look hot with my tan (not to be confused with TAN)- but as it looks as though I am going to have to pony up for some furniture, I need to curb my spending...the roommies own basically all the furniture in the house.

Good luck finding the new furniture and new roommates.  I know both of those can be a pain in the butt to find.  I almost wish I worked at a furniture store right now, with the amount of furniture I've seen at the curb in the last few days I can only imagine that somewhere furniture salespeople are making a lot of money.  Hopefully everyone had insurance, and insurance is footing the bill for the new stuff.

I have had so many people calling me about flooring in the last few days - it is just ridiculous.  I knew that we would see the effect of this - but I thought it would take a few months.  I aam pulling my hair out trying to get everyone taken care of.

I haven't run into a whole lot of customers needing new stuff yet, but I know one of my customers here in town lost an alignment machine and I'd assume that I'll be hearing from my shops in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids about some lost equipment.

WOW - That is a colorful helmet on chainlove.  My daughter would love that.

Damn! I need a better helmet but that is way too girly. Not even 2goggs would wear that.

No... against my better judgment, I texted "Hot-bridesmaid-mom" from yesterday's conversation.

So what's the plan there?

With crazy baby-daddy ex and everything? Don't be surprised if you end up on Springer...

bwahahaha, don't have one. That's why I'm an idiot.

Hopefully she ignores me any wonders why I would be texting... but this is me we're talking about, there's no chance of that happening.

Probably best for you if she was really drunk and doesn't remember who she gave her phone number to.

DUUUUUUUUUUUDE! That's the solution!

Forget bridesmaid-girl. Go after her mom. Hot chicks usually have hot moms.

I think you ladies need a nice new cycling jacket.

Where's Lisa? She's easy...

... to talk into buying things.

Already have that cycling jacket - though it's $20 less than what I paid. But I also got it 50% off, so that was still a good deal.

Man, they have some crazy turnover on that site! Wonder if the Specialized Trivents will show up on there...doubtful...

Buy her one

I just bought her one.  I think I am going to build her a road bike this winter.  She would definitely need the color to match.  She is particular like that.  She told me the other day - "Dodi - those socks don't match that jersey - you need black or grey - not white".
