Post padders, I need opinions. I bought a new bike right after my crash. After face planting at 19mph, I figured, "hey, I'm worth it." I got the Cervelo P2C Ultegra, which has a black/gray frame. I could have cared less about the difference between the Ultegra and DA build because I'm just not that good of a cyclist. But I kind of preferred the red/white color scheme of the DA. Long story short (I know, too late), it turns out my LBS can put the red/white frameset on my ultegra build for no extra charge. Red is my racing color, but it's mostly white anyway. So my question is, which do you like from a purely aesthetic standpoint? Here are the two colors:

And just so you know, I'm terribly indecisive. I'll probably be sitting on the bike having it fitted and still be second guessing my decision.

I like the black/grey one... but that's just me. (Says the girl who rides a purple bike - don't trust my fashion sense.)

Nothing wrong with purple!

Personally, I love the black and grey color scheme.  But, my tri bike is a Litespeed Blade in titanium with purple accents, so clearly I like the grey.

It sounds like YOU want the white and red one, so that's what you should get.

I saw the first one, red and thought, "oh, pretty, fast!"

Then I saw the gray one and thought, "SOLD"

BUT ...

after muling it, I think the gray looks cool to some extent because of the photo background.  In a more random background, I think it would be more blah and the red would still scream.

saling4 - 2008-09-10 7:56 PM I would never eat liver no matter how normal.

Summer vacation always provided at least one liverwurst sandwich with mustard.  yum!

You won't get any laughter from my corner.

Down almost 15 pounds since starting training

Good for you!  I've been holding steady... which given the 4 week summer vacation with fatty food, ain't too bad!

I never used goggles (never really "swam" until this year.  So I still find myself closing my eyes when I don't need to anymore.  My husband laughs at me.

Oh, didn't I tell you? You've been voted off the team.

Just for the record, I did not vote in favor of booting you.

The Gray is stealthy...and I haven't seen too many.  The white/red has pizzaz, but I see those often.

I say go with the gray and get purple handle bar streamers.

26 pullups, 51 pushups, 51 squats  time: 4:49.  Slowing down in my old age.
