When I got to my tri in Sept my friend noticed I had flat tires so I took them to a volunteer for filling and it took about 20 pumps per tire to get them to the right pressure. That's seriously HARDCOREYou are my hero. Before I found the volunteer with a MTB pump I asked to borrow a pump from someone with a road bike and that's when I learned that they have different pump connectors... Is there a swim, bike, run for dummies somewhere? I've been learning the ins and outs of a good training plan but am missing a lot of other information. I found this out at midnight, in the rain, when I was sick, and had a job to go to (that I needed to get to on the bike). Hmmm ... lemme see if I can dig up a free primer for you composed of the better newbie articles on BT. There are some really good intro triathlon books, too, but damned if I know whether a one of them mentions the difference between Presta and whatever-the-road valves are. schrader? |

Joe Friel's Triathlon Training Bible is a good start....lots of other good basic tri books out there I have that book and read it 2 weeks ago. That's how I created my annual training plan. Great read! I mean I need help with silly little things like not asking triathletes with real bikes to lend me their pumps. The look on her face was priceless. |

That would be awsome if you get the chance. I plan on subscribing once I'm making income and catch up on my school debt. Starting to wish I didn't do the internship in China because that's a big chunk of the debt... |

I don't know what brands you have there, but my cat wash "furminator" smells amazing! My husband asked me if I used human shampoo on her she smelled so nice. I thought of trying her stuff... |

Pet shampoos, not much. Some stuff from Australia. Generally I use Johnson's Baby all-over wash for the dog (and will for teh cats, when I get around to it) so I can just sling it aruond and not worry if i get it in her eyes or if everything's not perfectly rinsed. Heck, half teh time I use it for myself |
