Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 - CLOSEDHey all, Not doing anything for the superbowl. My husband and I are solid Bills fans and really can't stand the Giants or the Patriots (sorry). I suppose I'd be happier if the Giants won since I dislike them less than I dislike the Pats. We'll just watch the game and hope that it's entertaining. I had a nice 16 mile run today. It was absolutely gorgeous out so I dressed warm and finally got an outside run in. It's usually late and already dark when I get home, so it was nice to get out in the daylight. I've been on the treadmill so much lately that it was like my legs forgot how to run hills. Our neighborhood is very hilly and it kicked my butt! I haven't felt this tired after a run in a LONG time. But I pushed through and just kept repeating "mental toughness" in my head over and over every time I wanted to turn back early. As for the weight loss challenge - I weigh in on Mondays, so I'll let you know where I'm at tomorrow. I'd like to get down to between 110 and 115 by June or so. (I'm only 5 feet tall.) I'm currently somewhere around 129 - my comfortable off-season weight that takes zero effort to maintain. I hope everyone has recovered from their miscellaneous illnesses! Jeremy, I hope your daughter is feeling better! |
