So we dont do Halloween here... the shops already have christmas stuff but Halloween just isnt a thing here... But I was at the supermarket yet and they actually had a section in the vegetable area with 'Halloween Pumpkins' - yes thats what they were called... they were big and ready for carving... it seemed so odd!

I am VERY sore and tired, but really happy I finished. We just got home. I went to Chrissy's after the race - she had post-race food. I was happiest when I actually crossed the bridge and knew I was going to be able to finish. I actually started crying. I had a hard time before that - my stomach was acting up and I spent a lot of time in the porta-potties. Overall, it was fun and the weather was fantastic. All the people on the course were great. I'm just not sure that I'm willing to say I want to do another marathon. Ask me in a few weeks. |
