I don't have a cat but here is Cooper my dog he is a toy golden doodle:

CA70.3 Update:  Leah and I found out our HIM wave starts today.  Remember the wave start is a big deal for me b/c I have to finish my OWS 1:10 after the last wave.  My wave starts at 7:29 so I will need to be out of the water by 8:58.   I think that will give me enough time even if I have have a panic attack.  I was scared I'd be in the last wave.    

Cooper seems to be an awfully good sport.

OK.  This picture was taken last Thanksgiving when I did a Turkey Trot with my two grandchildren.  They are proudly wearing their race numbers and Catherine insisted on wearing her shirt, the smallest one they had, but still quite big.

I could be dangerous, now that I know how to do pictures.  Be warned.

Have a great President's Day, everyone.  I am off for my flat sixty-mile bike ride and then we are going to see Avatar in 3DX this afternoon.  Chuck and I don't go to the movies, not being fans of sticky floors, noisy people, the inability to pause it to do whatever.  This is probably our third movie at the theater in ten years.  I will have a report on the movie tonight.  Has anyone else seen it and what did you think? 

Hooray!  We finally get to see cute little Leah.  How did the ride go today Leah?  Feel good? 

The ride was good.  Not great, but good.  I was supposed to have a 16mph average and I didn't get it.  I think I probably did on the first half, but fatigue and lots of people on the trail conspired against me coming back. 

I did realize that between the Saturday ride and today's ride, that's the equivalent of an IM ride.  And I am here to tell you that I am not ready for that distance without a day in between.  Not to mention that I got to stop for lunch in the middle of both rides.  It is going to be a loooonnnngggg ride on November 21. 

I got a new tri outfit.  Up to now I have just worn bike shorts and a sports bra.  It was a little pricy, but I figured "what the heck."  Black tri shorts and a cool top.
