I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

I just talked to my nice neighbor that shoveled my walk for me since I'm still sick. We have about 2 1/2 feet of snow that has fallen over the last week. Anyway. It turns out that everyone that went to our little neighborhood meeting Tuesday night got sick and is still out of it. I adjusted my goals down based on my planned workout for the time I've been sick. I'm close except for my swim goal. I've also lost some weight, which is nice. I think I'll also miss my goal of hitting 3000 posts this month. I know I'm close but I think its time to go take a nap.

If it's any consolation ... they ain't doin' any better either, and we're doing awfully admirably in light of the circumstances! I need to chase down the low-percenters and see if their logs are up or if they want out or what.

And ... me too. Not been well at all the last four days and other than MUST obligations, I've stayed in bed. Pooh!


Oh, and something only the Crushers could appreciate

Got a lovely message from a good old friend and my training partner in the States (that's like a marriage, practically!) ... she finished it with:

"I miss you here cheering me on, it's hard to make an alphabet of VD by yourself."[/QUOTE]

Emmanem - 2010-11-29 12:14 PM Woke up with the worst sinus headache I've had in a long time... super sleepy and not feeling too great so no swim.  Could barely breathe out of my nose so I figured swimming was probably a really bad idea.  I'm hoping this wears off soon.  I really wanted to get in a timed mile today to see if I can beat my fastest/least slow mile time.  

Really not been good on my goals this month.  Should hit (if I start to feel better later) my run and strength goals but jump rope and swimming goals i'm really slacking on.  Decided to do the Dont be a fruitcake December challenge so i think I'm going to have a jump rope goal again and redeem myself from this month.

Alright, it's STILL raining and probably won't stop. Heading out for a run...

They messed up my running trail by blocking some of it and forcing people to walk/run on the grass, which today will be very muddy for sure.
