Hit every traffic light...run was brutal. Row wasn't much better. In the end it was done though and feeling better for it. Group cycle training for tonite! oh and pushups this afternoon! Have a great day everyone! Way to get it done when it wasn't in you! Sometimes you just gotta grind it out! |

I need a filler until I can run and bike again. I am trying to keep the cardio up instead of sitting on the computer or couch. Drill baby drill! |

Connecticut | Subject: RE: Beer Drinker Appreciation Society - Closed ???Hi all, I haven’t been on since last week; my exercise activity has been good. Last week I ran twice, swam once, went spinning once and worked on the pushups challenge. Didn’t meet my week’s goal but was a productive week. I did get some tough news that my uncle passed away. Death is always tough but it has helped with motivation. He wasn’t an old man, he was only 56. He had a heart attack 4 yrs. ago and then hospitalized a year later for stomach issues. His decisions on how he treated his body shortened his life exponentially. It makes you think about all the decisions you make in life and how the most logically ones are usually the hardest. Makes no sense right? I only share this detail with you all because I feel proud of myself, my family and all of you for taking control and making that logical but hard decision.
Keep up the good work everyone! |

You will be able to 100 pushups in a row without stopping! I did this challenge with my son a couple of years ago. We both completed it than. You will be surprised how much you will advance. Crazy amounts of pushups in the end! Great party trick for beers...just sayin' |

I got my yoga in this morning as well as a 30 minute ride tonight. I'm enjoying my taper weak but not as much as the Mikkeller Ris A La M'Ale I had tonight it was a cherry almond beer. Quite tasty. Well balanced If you see this brand from Denmark - buy any bottle. IMHO - this is one of best, breweries on the planet. I also tried the new Sam Adams spring lineup... pure crap... So over rated |

This really hits home for me as well, I have fallen off my nutrition lately and just holding my little lady gets me motivated. She is so full of life, and I do not want to miss any of that!! Edited by justinfss 2013-02-07 12:25 AM |

Well, it's official... midnight shifts and my being lazy have totally derailed my nutritional goals and weight loss.... it's depressing. The power went out in my neighborhood this evening so before my shift started my wife and I had to actually converse and hang out together.!!!...!!! During the conversation we both agreed that we felt like garbage and it probably was because we had stopped watching our food intake. I think we are going to have to recommit to some kind of lifestyle, and not just a one month thing. I personally have a long way (50lbs at least) to go to reach my goals. My wife is a good weight but she wants to feel good and be healthy as well.
Good news though is that I got my push-ups and yoga in under the wire here at work!
