Using go to meeting to watch someone use a spreadsheet.  It's just about as good as ARGO!

Um, NOT...

Um, NOT...

Argo is on the list of movies I want to see... and 7 Psychopaths, and Sinister, and the Wreck It movie, and some others that I can't think of right now.

Oh, and the new James Bond movie when it comes out!

jford2309 - 2012-10-23 11:32 AM I love the dentist as long as they keep the nitrous gas pumping! Anytime I am in that chair, I have the nitrous! It is so relaxing...

I'm going to the dentist for the first time in about 5 years on Friday.  I'm more than a tad skurred cuz even though I've never had a cavity (yet... knocks on compressed particle board with a lovely wood veneer finish), I'm still a white knuckler in the chair!

Maybe I should just ask them to start with the nitrous and wake me when I'm done?

I went to the dentist for the first time in a couple years about 6 months ago for a cleaning.  I was SO used to the deep cleaning and the periodental exam (with the needle down you gum line) that when they DIDN'T do it, I was confused.  I kept asking, "when are you going to do the test and schedule for a deep cleaning?"

They said, we are not, your teeth are good.

I was happy and had a cocktail to celebrate!

My dentist uses lasers to "numb".  No pain.  No numbing.  Nothing.  He zaps ... and a minute later he drills and does his thing in my mouth and BAM ... done and I can talk and have no drool or tingling or pain or anything.

Edit: Ah .. upon rereading that ... YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!  I am off to hike in the mountains and take pics of colorful leaves and bears and mountain lions and maybe have a beer at the ski lodge!

Yeahhhhh, of COURSE we all knew what you meant... wink, wink, nudge, nudge...

All the trailers before ARGO were amazing.  I haven't been this excited about upcoming movies in a LONG time.

Oh, and Daniel Craig is dreamy.  He gives me hope that you can still get in great shape as an older gentleman.

I can only cross my fingers and hope that this is my outcome... but if it is... I'll definitely be celebrating with a beverage after the ordeal!

I really like Daniel Craig as Bond - he gives the character an angry, dark side that I think is great!

BUt he seems brooding and vulnerable.

Roger Moore was the best because he just killed without feeling or care. That's my kinda Bond.

Roger Moore was a <edited word that rhymed with wussy> and a sleeze worse than Bob Guccione and Larry Flynt combined.  Okay, maybe not Larry Flynt.
Daniel Craig is the persona of Bond before he became a finely-honed, killing machine Bond - more believable.
