Rumor has it that Macs don't get sick...

I have only gotten a few viruses on my PC's that my protection caught right away and they never got on the system.

I think if you have the money, get an apple.  But I'm just so comfortable with my PC and windows.

It took a bit to learn the interface of my Ipad, so now I may get an Iphone instead of another Droid.  Droid seemed more intuitive, but I like the Mac OS now that I know how it works.

Yep.  Something called "people are cool" with footage of people doing crazy/cool things - I was following the auditions where people THOUGHT they were going to be train wrecks and ended up being amazing.  Sort along the lines of Susan Boyle and the like.

Mac vs. PC vs. the next thing.  I've had my 20 plus years of supporting these dang things and really don't care anymore - just make the friggin' things work better and less prone to malware/virii/etc. and I'll be happier.

I've not had any malware or virii in 6 years on any of my Mac products. . Can't even say that about myself.

On a Mac, most certainly, but it's always good to stay upgraded (java, flash and Reader for certain).

Regarding your personal health, well, I'm quite impressed!  It's good to be living in the Southern region to avoid a lot of these cold and flu seasons like we get.

Maybe it's just the Ipad and a MacBook would be fine.  But I can't look at all the pretty graphs on BT or FitBit because my device doesn't support Flash.

That's the problem though with WinDoze.  Being one of the "security" guys here I have to deal with the stuff that "sneaks" in undetected (just visiting legit sites sometimes produces undesirable issues on PCs that are not up-to-date), and one program may or may NOT catch it.  No program is fool-proof.  It's a constant headache I have to deal with.

Microsoft essentials pretty much take care of all the malware these days. Total sucker punch to Norton and McAfee... being free and all.

Did anybody else hear that the McAfee dude is wanted for murder in Africa?

I said I can't say I've been free of virii ....I've had plenty of colds and flus ....weather is not a factor in the virii.

Cough in your sleeve/arm, wash your hands, and be dammeded if you touch anything!

Tell them to stay off the pron sites...

I practice safe computing now.  I look at the link in the search results before just hitting it.  Pretty much just go to proven safe sights and don't do random surfing anymore.

It seems he has been somewhat involved with guns, drugs, et al for a while. His American neighbor, which he said he was going to shoot if the guy came into his property again, all of a sudden appears dead by gun shot to the back of the head...hmmm...coincidence?
