Summer sleep overs are the best.

I got my fitbit flex today. It seems to be working pretty well. I logged some time on the treadmill with my hand still and it logged it. It is not 100% accurate, but then how can it be, really when it is attached to my arm?

We will see in a couple of days.

I am off to the beach in a bit.  Tomorrow is my 10k along the ocean.  Weather is a bit chilly and maybe some rain, but a weekend at the beach with two gal friends will be fun anyway!

Good evening Ghoulies!

I took two days of leave from work and worked in my yard.  I am now growing chives, basil, cilantro, mint and tarragon.  Also have three different kinds of tomatoes.  Also have some more flowers and power washed the walk ways and drive way.  

Yesterday had a great tennis match.  Tie breaker in both sets, first tie break was 11-9, second was 7-4.  You need to win with at least 7 points and be up by 2.  As you can see we had a great match.  We were all well matched skill wise.  It was quite the match.  And my partner and I won.  Woot!  My first win this summer.  

Ann - so happy that Keri has had a great camp experience.  

Robin - have fun going up Chimney Rock

Dee - have a great time at the beach

Amy - When do you start building the new house?

Melissa - are you rocking France?

Just when I thought we'd have an evening off Keri was asked to play with the 12U team last night, they were going to be a few players short. 3 girls from her team played last night. Keri was the catcher, and the others were at 3rd and short stop. Keri did great. One inning she was in on the plays for all 3 outs, throwing 2 base runners out at 3rd and making the play at home for another out. She got a hit and walked twice. She was all smiles after the game, and we went out for ice cream. It's been a lot of late nights this week and EVERYONE is tired here.

The run at the beach today went marvelous!  The weather could not have been better.  And I am so happy with my time.

My two friends also did well.  Now we have the rest of the weekend to kick back and relax.

Oh, my friend in Tenn said there were no softball shirts of any kind in the store at the campus. The clerk said that they had to be ordered on the internet. But she also said that the folks working there did not seem like they should have been accepted at a school of higher learning

Thank your friend for checking for me. I did find a softball t-shirt I'll get her. I already ordered her a Tennessee basketball jersey, shorts, and socks.

oh boy---hopefully by mid-July. I'm dying. That puts us having to really push hard to move in before Christmas.  

Hi guys--Sorry I've been MIA. Again. Hubby was out of town and I pretty much burried my head in the sand and did the bare minimum to get by. I have missed you guys, and I have not been doing any run, bike, or swim at all the last couple weeks. Hubby is back now, and I drop The Girl off at Girl Scout camp tomorrow morning. She'll be gone for 4 weeks. And hubby SHOULD be home for a couple weeks. AND The Boy has 7 days of school left before summer break. *sweet*!

And with that, I better get my silly self off to bed. Hopefully I can stop by tomorrow again.

My new bike is in so I am going to pick it up today. YEA!!

Tomorrow I have to go to Raleigh for a two day staff meeting. Hmph!
