Morning everyone.  Nice job on all the running going on!   Today I have a swim and bike on the schedule.  BUT, my right quad is not feeling 100% so I think I'll skip the bike and just swim.

Too late. I was already there. Although, it looks like you'll get there ahead of Phil.

I see I havent missed anything around here the last few days...

Hi Cat!

Hi Erica!

Hi Cat and Erica!  Is is time for a donut?

Yup.  I just wish I had one.  I had to settle for more cookies.

I could go for some wine though.  Too bad I don't have any hanging around.

Oh I dont feel like a donut... but could DEFINATLEY demolish some cookies!

Shall I send over some chocolate chip one's for you?

You were passing out cookies last night?  Dang, I always miss out on the good stuff.

Same here.  It won't be very nice for the training schedule.

Sounds like a plan.  Is that the same quad you hurt a couple of weeks ago?

Yeah,  it still isn't 100% but close.  If I would just stop running/biking/playing softball, I am sure it would be better by now but who can do that?  My A race in in 11 days.  I'll rest after that!

I would be the same way.  You'll have plenty of time to rest after the half

Yup!  It should only take a week or so for it to be fine, I just don't have that time right now.  I plan to rest until it's better or at least take it easier!

Dee, I was wondering, about my goal versus my injury. Do I have to send your a PM with my new goal, or I just change it on the spreadsheet? I am trying to guess what I will be able to run for the rest of the month as of now.

Happy Monday everyone! Got my Monday run this evening. 4.8M

Nice, way to squeeze one in under the wire.  Maybe we should all practice that for June 30th....

You can try. But I'll be tasering people on the 29th.

Ummm how fast can you run?

Why do you think I asked about the range of the taser....

I'm going to have to stay away from this thread if we don't stop talking about cookies and donuts.  I think I've put on 5 pounds since the beginning of June!

It's raining here again.  I'm glad I don't have a run scheduled today.

Mmmmm... I'm still in New Orleans and can't leave town before trying some beignets!  I threw in another short run last night in order to justify it though.

This is crazy-- I'm in town for a diabetes conference and all I can think to bring back as souvenirs are pralines, beignet mix and a hangover. :D

Raining here too.  Thunder and lightening too.  No swim for me if it doesn't stop soon.

We had the thunder and lightning earlier.  Now it's just damp and yucky.

What if you just go by the doctor's suggestion of 30 min/day 3x/week, and make an run estimate based on that?

You can just update the spreadsheet with whatever numbers makes sense....

But -- don't risk an injury for the challenge!
