And they told me I could wait until my appointment on Tuesday to have them fixed. How the hell does that make any damn sense? So I cannot really chew anything because the wire is floppy AND the likelyhood of more brackets popping off other teeth is greater due to the instability of the whole structure now. Oh well. Soft foods for the weekend! I sense a lot of texting of Tony here. All is good. Doc is going to meet me at the office to fix them. He said that I can't go 5 days like this. He did tell me that he was doing yardwork and will not be showered and will be in shorts and a tshirt. Like I care. As long as he washes his hands I'm good with it! ![]() Ima laugh when he's like `I just spread fertilizer with my bare hands but am out of soap. Sorry. Open wide!!!' |

First, congrats on finishing an IM. Its an enormous accomplishment. I'm not knocking your choice, but are you *really* sure you want one? Its a rather permanent decision, even with lasing, you still have a mark there if you ever decide you want to remove it for some reason. I personally would likely do a decal for a while to see if I really really REALLY wanted to do that. I'm sure it will look fine on you, but I've seen some people who should've known better, including a middle-aged woman in MS that I rode with a few times - and who had lost a LOT of weight in her fitness process but unfortunately had some loose skin that only Dr. 90210 was going to be able to do anything about - that had one put on her leg, and Becky just looked silly - its the equivalent for some middle-aged people of getting a sports car with the bald spot peeking out - and that's how she looked. I'm putting it on the inside of my wrist, under my watchband. It's not for anyone else but me, Wont' even be visible. Yes, I am positive I want it. |
