Artemis - 2012-06-15 5:33 PM I did sit on my butt...but on my bike instead of my couch!  First time I've ridden my bike in almost 2 years.
Sa-Weet!!!!! You go girl. OK, back to my average geek self.

So, my boss took me out for drinks and now I'm out for the day. I'm at the beach looking for a friend and can't find her. I'm tempted to just yell for her but I'm not sure what would happen if I keep calling out "cox"

Camping this weekend. Hooray. Internet not reliable. Best wishes to all.

Storm last night -- only when we leave town. A little scary in our 5th wheel. Lol

I dunno. I've stumbled down my street on two different occasions, wild-haired, red-eyed, screaming SUICIDE! and the other time HOT SEX!

Of course, they're used to me in my neighborhood; maybe they don't know you so well on the beach.

Saturday morning here in Melbourne - cold but the sun is shining brightly - the washing is hanging on the line, I got a clean house - now what.  Stupid straight hair no training again today - makes me stir crazy and sorry DH I'm gonna be miserable and probably cry!

BUT back on it tomorrow hopefully.  Gonna ride to the LBS tomorrow as he's having a huge sale - meeting my girlfriend there.  She wants him to sponsor her as she's qualified to represent Australia in her age group for Sprint distance triathlon in New Zealand in october (I'm going to watch of course!)

Anyway, nothing wrong in my life have a great day!

Awwww, all that talk about corrupting me and I just blew Salty off cause I am EXHAUSTED!  We were up at 4am this morning to get to the agility trial by 8:30am.  Sounds like it woulda been fun.   I have been known to be less than innocent myself, so maybe best that it is saved for AFTER a race :-).

On that note, went out to the lake today to check it out.  Unfortunately, it is full of icky green plants.  I hate that.  But best that I know that now, rather than tomorrow morning!  Did a few laps, started out waaaaaaay too hard and couldn't breathe.  Got it under control, then did some slow and smooth.  Hopefully I'll remember that in the AM!  Let the dogs have a swim too.

Hmmmmm, I am the Manatee representative for this weekend, huh?  I'm feeling a little apprehensive--not about that, but about the distance.  Not worried about the bike or run (well except going out too hard on the bike, because I am still not great on pace), but the swim is the longest I have done in OWS.  I have read your MAPS, Yanti, around 4 times in the past 2 days and have been doing the breathing.  My strategy is to just stay calm...  At least it looks like the weather is supposed to hold, no showers until tomorrow afternoon.  And of course it was a gorgeous day today!

I'll let y'all know all about it of course :-).  Thanks for all the well wishes!

Great job!!  I did my 1st 1.5 hour hot yoga session today (bought a groupon of $35/2 months unlimited of Bikram yoga).  I melted but loved it!!  Its good to know there is someone else crazy enough to do yoga in a 105 degree sauna!  Crazies stick together!

I'm going for it!  Sprint Tri tomorrow, it's not USAT so wetsuits are allowed.  I've got a 2 piece, wearing the bottoms only.  This will allow me to swim and not be tooooooo slow.  I will pull mostly with left arm, use right more as a guide.  Did a short test swim today, shoulder/collar bone feels O.K.  It's a sprint so only 500m swim, 9 mile bike, 2.4 mile swim but a hilly little course.

I BOUGHT A TREK.....

It's not the original TT monster I nearly bought, it's a road bike a 5.2 and I got me some aero bars to sexy it up a bit.  I think he's beautiful, just need to find a name for my new trusty steed.  I shall miss my Giant but DH will take that one now as his own.
