Monica, have you or Tony written a letter to your representatives?  It is an election year.   Congressional inquirys have a way of getting to the top of the pile and resolved.

We have a friend that actually works with a congressman so we're just waiting to hear if there's anything that might be able to happen.  It's a huge long shot, but you never know!

Imma about to go mow my head (it's been 9 days since I've gotten my hurr did) and it's getting shaggy.

Then Imma eat the last of the quinoa and veggie mix.....and some hot pickled cucumber and onions......and a snickers bar.

Then Imma come back to work and hopefully not get any calls about drug baggies being found on campus and having to drug test 15 employees......

I have a serious question for TAN.

I guess the wife has a new "friend"...  Some things are happening that makes me feel a bit uneasy.  I know nothing would happen and trust completely, but there ARE things (late night phone calls to talk about acting class - like 11:30 12am).  He was invited over to have some drinks and ended up staying to past midnight and they drank and giggled while I had to go to bed around 11.

I have always prided myself about not being jealous and being trusting.  And I KNOW there is nothing to worry about.  Do I go with what I KNOW, or say something?

I understand if she "likes" someone.  That happens.  But I sort of look at it this way.  What kind of guy is calling a married women up just to chat at midnight?

I guess it's about what feel appropriate, rather than jealousy.  If they talked during the day, no issue.  But they both DO have odd hours in that business...

I don't want to be that overbearing jealous  husband, BUT.

I don't know.  I can reason with myself why it shouldn't be an issue - and it's NOT an issue, other than the fact it bothers me!  And I have only been "bothered" maybe by one other thing in 10 years.

And we have pregnancy pics tomorrow too.....apparently Annie's the model for 2 friends who are trying to build their portfolio's.....I'm just told what to wear and where we are driving to. Other than that, I guess I have to smile pretty.

Outtie folks.....

A page late!

missed all the party invites

Liked TJ's blog though...

And Kido, I could go with whatever you are feeling, if you think somethings is wrong, best to approach with her sooner rather than later.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out a way to say something without sounding jealous...

I COULD ask if she would be comfortable if a woman coworker was calling me up at 11:30 to chat how she would feel about it, but that's not addressing the issue, it's asking about a hypothetical.  And of course, she would probably come up with reasons why it's not the same.

Engineers don't call up at midnight.  Odd job actors, probably do.

Agree with Ford on this one.  Only you know, yours and your wife's boundries and how it makes you feel.

Not saying anything IMO is dangerous for both parties.

I think this says a lot.
I would say something, but that's based only on my past experiences.

If you are really feeling that I would tell her in a non confronting way that YOU feel a little jealous. You know she won't do anything and you feel silly but you just wanted to tell her. Don't come off as accusing just more of a husband telling his wife how he feels. She can do what she feels is right with the information and you can see how she reacts.

I have married female friends whose husband is kind of jealous in a protective way since I am single. One guy just told his wife in a very open way that he wasn’t upset with her friendship with me since we have known each other since we were kids but he just wanted to let her know he did feel jealous a bit. Since then she only makes plans with me at a time he can go with us and if he turns down the offer it’s on him. My point is that my friend cares about her husband and how he feels and since he didn’t come off ranting but just saying how he feels his wife was understanding about it.
