Good day Ghoulies.  I got a 3 mile walk in on Sunday, and then the hip hurt all night.  Bummer.

I did get some swimming in also.  Woot!  We had a picnic by the pool.  fun.

Home again!  Had fun all weekend, but glad to be home now.

Raining again... big surprise.

Ann, not sure the career move that you are considering would work out with your kids busy schedule!

I am hoping to work through the pain since it is not going away.  Got in almost 4 miles last night and even managed to run 3/4 of a mile after walking the first 3 miles with hubby.  July 4th is a 10K, and stupid me signed us up to start one of the many waves not realizing that they were going to make us be there by 4am.  We will likely be on our feet for about 5 hours before our wave takes off.  We will be super tired that day.

Good Morning Ghoulies.

I am not sure what I will do as far as fitness today.  I have a full day at work.  And at the beach we walked a lot besides the race, just looking at shops and strolling the ocean.

Right now just trying to make it through the day. I have had 2 horrible nights in a row. That's not good.

Keri has a softball game tonight, against her team from last year. They are undefeated, and already beat us once this year. The coach has a personal vendetta against their coach, which is obvious to everyone. He coaches the girls different for this game. Maybe if he'd leave things alone we could pull off the win.

Caleb also needs picked up from basketball camp tonight. Donnie and I are both volunteering to go get him because we can't take the stress from the softball game. :-/

Sorry to hear about the stressful softball game on tap for tonight.  Sometimes I am relieved that the grandkids are so far away and I don't have to get worked up over all the sports politics, but then again I sure do miss seeing them play.  I really enjoyed taking my kids to their sports activities.  I hope Keri does well, no matter what the outcome of the game is.

The kiddos were fun when they were little, but THIS is really the age I was looking forward to. I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching my kids play. Keri is an animal at whatever sport she plays. Caleb is coming out of his shell and starting to come into his own. When I took him to camp on Sunday evening, after we registered we walked down to the other gym and a bunch of kids were playing. He said he wanted to go play, I told him to go ahead. He jumped in there with the kids and had a huge smile on his face. I can't tell you how happy that made me.

It does get stressful though. Dealing with idiot parents, and less than knowledgeable coaches is not my idea of a good time.
