OFFICIALLY RETIRE FROM RAGNAR RACES

What happened?

TW

Nothing horrible, but after having leg 7 (the mtn in Chattanooga) for the second time, I have no desire to ever run that leg again. I have done this race twice and just realized that the three hours of running I get to do is not worth the time and expense of a 34 hour race. and I have NO DESIRE to do an ultra team with only 6 racers

Howdy MrB!

Slowing down for a little bit then it's back to it. Hey I was in philly not to long ago for the US rowing convention. The weather was gorgeous! I'll be back again in the summer for the Independence Day regatta if not before. You stayin' out of trouble?

Hahaha of course not! I should know better!

When I was there in October for the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta I was reffing on the Schuylkill but the convention was over at Penn's Landing. The IDR will be on the Schuylkill as well. We always stay at the crowne plaza on City Ave. for that one.

It's been about 3 years since my last TAN, but the last post in this one is almost a month old . . . what's happening here?

For what's it's worth, I just had a bourbon (neat).

So I said "my back hurts" in TAN, and when I checked FB about 30 minutes later, this showed up in my feed:

http://www.uprightpose.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc&utm_...

I've never posted or searched or linked to anything related to back posture or pain in FB before. I know FB picks up visits to other sites (like retail), but this (picking up text from a post in a forum) is a little creepers.

SH1T!   BT, COJ, and TAN has been a creeping death.  I guess I shouldn't have retired from Tri's.

I'm going to crawl back into my hole in h3ll.

Ouch, been about a year for me!

I knew something was up when, after this much time off, I recognized so many names.

This is absolutely the longest running TAN, ever.  Quite a far cry from the days where we could burn through a whole TAN in three days.

Sounds RIGHT!  I miss you guys!  Some of my most memorable moment of being a tri.....happened right here in TAN.  Think (just thinking of coming back) as my back seems to be all better?

To avoid a myriad of injuries (joint pain to your knees, ankles, hips, shin splints, foot pain, bruises), it’s invaluable to find the right running shoes.
