November CRUSHERS (Page 57)

I'm sorry I didn't do better folks.  I misjudged how much I wouldn't do.  I still have a run  to enter, not that it will matter much.

If we do a challenge, I might be up for that.  I might try the fruitcake thing too.  I've been at a conference the last 3 days - so - haven't stepped on the scale - but pretty sure I've gained weight.  sigh

No we want you to be able to participate too!!!  How about strength training?? 

I'm up for any kind of Crusher Challenge...  I need motivation all around!  Should we set up a December Crusher thread?

Hey everyone, I managed to get close on most of my goals even with basically taking 9 to 10 days off in the middle. Happy December!

I think that's a great idea. At the same time, I really like the not-a-fruitcake challenge ... and everyone participating might not want to be reading our 100 posts a day about ... um ... I don't know... sexually transmitted diseases and whatnot

So maybe you could ask Dee if we all could jump in, but have our own thread? You know, just to be POLITE and not annoy everyone?

I'm on the world's SLOWEST net connex and it's taking forever to get into logs, or even into/out of spreadsheet ... as soon as I'm on a (relatively) fast connex I'll do all the checking, asking, and tallying (meaning results will come out at the exact moment nobody cares anymore. Ha).

How about we make it a "December Crushers Motivation" thread?  That way we can take part in other challenges but also have the crushers to motivate and play fun sexually transmitted diseases alphabet games without annoying people in other challenge threads

Nope. I wouldn't have. Not to this degree. I wouldn't set goals this high without the encouragement of the group and these challenges.

Speaking of slow connections... I logged on to work at home this morning while waiting for my wife. It took 15 minutes just to log on. I guess its what I deserve for the runaway program I had yesterday that bogged everything down for the whole company. (oops)

Wow. We had a slow month. We didn't even get to a second thread. I guess it didn't help that I basically took a week off.

With 2 1/2 ft of snow, you SHOULD have been spending more time on the computer!

Hm. Let me think about that awhile....

It looks like I'm chasing Dee through the forums tonight. Can I find everywhere she posted? Can anyone ever keep up with all of Dee's posts? I don't think so.

 

It's my fault actually... without checking my stats (because it takes soo long to load) I'd say I'm -1000 posts in November compared to October.

As for the final winners ... because I'm lazy (actually, not, but I'm not PMing everyone and checking logs against spreadsheets and all that biz), it's well into December, and ...

Okay, so what I did was drop all the scores from BOTH teams that were under 50%, because clearly something happened, but nobody let us know. I figured it was fair because it was a nice arbitrary number and, well, yeah. I ain't doin' fancy calculations either, sorry.

Rhonda of the Crushers as the winner of the when-Judi-runs bonus challenge round got an extra 15% on her total.

Again this Challenge was very very close and the final scores are:

GHOULISH 83.49%

CRUSHERS 81.76%

(I still don't think that's statistically significant , but it will do for now)

Dang! That's two months in a row. We have to beat those Ghoulies. Isn't that why we're called the Crushers?

I hear it takes time to Crush a Ghoulie.
