Master 6595 Rio Rancho, NM | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED I forgot to comment on the aero drink/breathing issue and report back on my massage. First the aero drink. I wouldn't call it being out of breath, but when I drink in aero it does upset my breathing rhythm, which takes me a few seconds to recover. It's definitely noticable, but tolerable. Chews, on the other hand, give me the same feeling for far too long to chew those, not tolerable. The massage. It was actually pretty good. It was more beneficial than I thought it would be. She suggested I be nekkid so she could really get in to the muscles. I didn't think I'd be comfortable with that but it wasn't bad. The residual soreness was finally gone! She said my muscles are nicely toned but still flexible, yay! I can see the benefit but at $80 and hour (including tip and the cost to get in to the community center) I don't think I'll do it often. |

Seattle | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED rrrunner - 2013-03-26 10:41 AM ok, wait, what's the question? The fact that has albertsons logo means that it was a joint venture store. SBUX doesn't have full ownership of stores within grocery. It could be a cross promo. Did you scan the QR?Well my morning is off to quite a start... First, I'm still in PMS/taper mood/mode Second, the dog decided to occupy the same space I was using during our run so I now have some road rash and a sore hip Third, the coffee machine decided to act a fool So of course I decide to stop at Sbux on my way to the office. The one by the house had a HUGE line so I stopped at the one by the office and saw the following sign. Salty does Sbux have more offerings that we need to know about? |

Ugh... Blood from a turnip? The vast majority of people, even educated people, even people on this site, don't understand critical thinking and logical fallacies, much less the types of scientific studies, how they're conducted, how the data are assessed and especially not what those analyses mean. Even if you spell it out for them. Back to my Pop Tart. Fair point. Just makes me annoyed. As a society, we don't understand science and it drives me crazy!! I want a Pop Tart. |

Another way to look at it is that this keeps you employed OK, from a serious standpoint, I read a little bit in there and it points out one of the things that I learned a while back. Anyone can post anything in the threads, without regard. It has become my responsibility to make sure I trust (or don't) those posts. If I see science related posts from you, I'll take them to mean something. If I see some other stuff from sources that I believe are less then reputable, I just move on. It is somewhat of a cluster trying to navigate the whole thing though. I can't imagine the challenge of being in your environment and trying to weed through the fog to get to where you are going. |

My dad died 5 years ago this April 14, and I've been having a hard time with it the past couple weeks, after being fine for years. I don't think we ever really get over great losses. We just adapt and move on. But it can come back to bite. |

It has to be a challenge to report things that are of a certain level to a group that may not be of the same level. We have found a communication gap in our workplace solely based on the words that are used and what they mean to different people in different departments and industries. I can only imagine the challenge of working within the entire populace. |

Hugs That last pic you posted of him was badazz No shyte, right? I'll post it here for posterity too and because Skrat asked for stories. That's a 1000-word one right there! I'm totally procrastinating again. Put in a really long tough day full of meetings (good, productive, some were tough, my brother made a guy cry and told him he's lucky it wasn't me talking to him or he'd be black and blue, true) ... then dinner and Yahtzee with Mutti. She trounced me as usual. Doing a fly-out to Bali early morn tomorrow, whirlwind of errands and document-location around the Funny Farm, and back to Jakarta by evening. |
