Of course! ^^^^

I changed my avatar.  I figure I could put on the mask and go back into the threads and argue against myself.

GAH!  What the EFF am I doing?  I wasted all morning in a thread...

You just like saying `My wife, the model ...'

of course...  I never grow weary of that!

But if she grows weary of that....will it be an issue?

Does she like to be called that?

Not to me...

And she hasn't complained.

Sunday morning working and drinking coffee on the couch (yuck!) but later to bathe the bike, head out to a baseball game, and do some hot yoga.  Nice little Sunday planned.  Yesterday's sprint kicked my butt far more than I expected, but I picked both games last night and am going to be champion of the my work tournament pool on Monday!!  Only one more game to survive!

I am a lake person and a boat person.  The first day of the season to put the boat in the water is a big deal.  So I was more than a little disappointed that after reconnecting all the hoses and drain plugs and charging the battery that the boat had a transmission problem.  I chugged out of the boat house, idled a bit to warm the oil and get is circulated through, then put the throttle in for a ride.  The engine revved freely but the boat just surged forward and slowed.  It sounded like the transmission was catching then slipping.  I dropped back to idle and went back to the boat house.  Now I have to go get the truck to trailer it and get in line at the boat doctor to get it fixed.  My first boat ride will be delayed for a while.

This boat is approaching its 20th birthday.  The transmission has survived through a lot of starting and stopping with people learning to ski without needing any repair work.  It has been a good one.

I have been without my boat for a few years, and miss it some days, but we lived too many hours from where we kept the boat at my dad's property at the Lake of the Ozarks.

You are living in the wrong place then.  You need to live closer to water.  I hope you get to move to Florida as you have discussed and that you get a new boat.  I commented this morning to my wife how satisfying it is to wake up and see water out the window.

I have always wanted to live at the lake.  Our place has always been the weekend getaway.  Now that I am retired, I want to be here for weeks at a time.  Right now we still have too many caregiving responsibilities to stay as long as I want.  In 10 years, I have yet to spend more than about 4 nights in a row here.

We sold the boat, and it is in our plans to be near water.  It is very, very relaxing.

I have 6 year old Opel Corsa. Its one of the if not THE cheapest car on the road in Spain. All I want from a car is to get me from point A to point B and back again. I basically use it to get me from home to the subway and back. Location also plays into it here. Spain is a place where smaller cars are more user friendly on the small narrow roads and tight parking conditions. On top of that its also a place thats more susceptible to dents and scrapes and other. Example of other- I come up out of the subway one day and my 4 tires were stolen....

I'm a Nissan fan. We had a Maxima (great styling and reliability and 4 door), have an Infiniti G35X (awesome power and handling) and I have a Rogue (car based SUV).

BMW is expensive feature for feature and usually highest price in its class.
