Noice! Those are so cool....

Roll up to the Harley Davidson Cafe on the strip and show it off with all the other bikes...

You could at least pretend it's yours...

Those things, like all other HD's are just a variety of junk.  You know you can rent real bikes out there, right?

It's impressive that you can respond without vision.

Brail (sp?) computer screens are not as expensive as they once were.

Never seen a Braille computer screen.  Keyboard, yes.

That is because they are for the visually impaired. If you can see then you don't need one.

Location in Vegas. I'd rent a VFR to have something close to what I currently ride, unless money was no object...then Hello 1098

ETA: And my drive by of TAN is through for the lunch-hour.  Back on the road.  Later.

Did somone go to the eye doctor and get dialated?

No someone's been on the phone with insurance people so that they can go to the eye doctors (which btw, is worse).

On side likes the feel of something slow and loud vibrating between their legs.  The other side likes something quicker vibrating between their legs.

Either way, they both agree that nothing beats having a chunk of something vibrating between your legs.

I don't look down on them, I just would never bother riding one again.  Once was enough for me.  I respect what HD has done as a marketing company, but they haven't done anything innovative since 1936.  The only modern motor they use, in the V-Rod, was designed by Porsche.  Erik Buell even gave up on their engines and went to the same company that makes engines for Aprilia for his new bike.

The thing that's so ridiculous about BT is there's a whole undercurrent here that if you don't do an IM you're really not worthy to be in triathlon. Hell, X2's BF does nothing but sprints and olys and his times for his AG and overall kick the butts of most of the people on here... but he's not a 'real triathlete' by the silly standard that's on this board.

Ok, I need to rebut this. It's utter and complete BS.

May I call your attention to the Introduce Yourself forum...

Or the Races Reports forum...

Do you really stand by that statement? I'd like to see examples please. And by that, I mean lots of them. There are regularly well over 1000 people on here creating many thousands of posts in a single day. The enormous majority of them directly contradict what you wrote above.  So if you can't find more than just a couple of posts of this type, I'm going to call the quotation above exactly what it is which is a poor mix of whining and trolling.

 Ridiculous indeed...

I have many talents.  Seriously, though I can only read on the computer (font enlargement).  I can't read a book or article for more than 10 minutes w/glasses, before fatigue.  Not cool.

Yeah, however I'm riding with 9 other guys. 5 of them are customers... who are die hard Harley guys. My boss said "Hey, you're either gonna be a Harley guy for awhile or not get a bike at all."

So.... I decided to be a Harley guy.

I was begging for a Ducati...

I guess I'd do the same thing, but I'd still be wearing my Triumph leathers and my full-face.

So where do the custom "chopper" guys fit in the mix?

Rightly so. I think most of us already came back with comments to the contrary of what was originally posted. Sure, there are one or two bad apples in every group, but overall, BT is awesome! After the week we've had, that comment was a bit unnecessary.

To add - we love you Spokesy, but Marma is right. Gotta get over your anger, dude. It's not healthy
