mbasta - 2010-10-11 8:17 PM Bill mentioned that bribes are being accepted for an upcoming Ghoulie position. Here's some chili!! Laughing

Plop a six pack next to that bowl of chili and we might have a deal

Um... yeah... food is ok, but there is an alcohol tax to join the village. Please send payment to NJKim.

Over the summer I can make a kick a$$ watermelon margarita, with watermelons from my garden...  Will that work?  Laughing

I am not a fan of watermelon, but I'm sure there are some Ghoulies who are! Since you make it in the summer time, payment can be sent to Robin, we will enjoy a weekend staying in the cabins on the lake and drinking margaritas.

Yep, that would just be fine and dandy! No worries Ann, we can make regular margaritas as well!

I like those too!  But I like mine with 2x the tequila...

You fit in with this crowd perfectly!  Kiss

I am really procrastinating this morning. I've taped the knees but not yet made the switch from sweats to running gear. If I'd gone out when I got up, the bloody run would be over with. Sigh.

deehtz - 2010-10-11 9:28 PM My run was at my race pace of my 10K a week ago.  That is really good for me in a training workout.  I didn't even feel as if I was pushing too hard.  I'm pumped!

Good news Dee!

All these speedy Ghoulies. This and Melindis 5 something per K. Geeeez! If I can get an average of 7 something per K I am happy.

LOL  My "speedy" workout yesterday was still more jog than run.  I am still working on getting up to a slow run!

disturbed275 - 2010-10-12 7:42 AM So I've got a 4 hr block of meetings at starting at 9:00.  Who wants to sub in for me?

You need a cardboard cutout of yourself to set in a chair during those meetings.

Great idea!  Smile   Listen to her, Neal.  Then you will have more time for a workout!

wgraves7582 - 2010-10-12 5:13 AM I purposely avoided discussing anniversary h*ll trip last night.

Maybe if I don't say anything it will just go away!

Good luck on THAT one!

wgraves7582 - 2010-10-12 5:12 AM This month alone I would have ridden in the rain 9 out of 12 days if I rode every day.

Weather is NOT cooperating with you!  Are you going to be able to get your commutes in?

ironannekidd - 2010-10-12 5:21 AM We are building what the kids and I call the K9 Kondo in our garage. Great Danes do not take the cold or the heat well. I hate to have him crated all day long while we're gone. We put one of the inground electric fences in this summer so he and my other dog can have the run of the yard. So we are building an insulated dog house in the garage, complete with 2 windows. My son even wants to put a chimney on the top when we're done for Santa.

We have it designed that the window on the Kondo wall aligns with the window on the garage wall so we can open them up and have a air in the summer.

The husband and kids worked on that yesterday afternoon. I supervised after my nap.

This winter the pups will be able to go into their house in the garage and stay warm during the days. They come in with us when we get home from work.

Sounds like a great project.  They will be living in style!

I don't believe in New Year's resolutions, but I have decided I will start a year long journey Nov 1.

It is time to get back on track with the eating, lose the weight, get strong, get fit, be healthy and happy.

Now I just need to figure out how to do all of that.

I have a great goal setting sheet if you're interested. It has space for 3 major goals and each has space for several action steps to accompany it. I have started filling one out monthly to keep regular track of my progress.

Maybe that's what I need. I'm not very organized at all. I'd like to be, I just don't know how.

Maybe goal setting is the first step to recovery? I'm hyper organized so if you need any tips let me know. I just emailed the document to the address you have posted in your profile.

It has really helped me stay on track and keep me accountable. It's too easy to disregard goals that aren't written down.

Thank you Melissa. I got the email, I will have to wait until I get home to look at the spreadsheet. It's too tiny on my phone.
