Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED Yanti's dapper dude-dad circa 1958, in New York City. Really hadn't changed that much over 50 years later. Just for the record, he was definitely the best-looking corpse I've ever seen, and I've seen a few hundred probably. I also did the ceremonial Muslim washing of the body and preparation for burial. I think in most Muslim cultures, but definitely many Indonesian cultures regardless, it's the family that takes care of their loved one's body. It was a great honor and such a tender thing to do for my dad. He was also a clean freak so I know he appreciated the thoroughness Also the Muslim cleric who was there supervising--basically just the hospital chaplain, if you will--was a super, super guy. |

Seattle | Subject: RE: Mental Manatee Mentors Part 3--CLOSED Trying to plan some tris leading up to AG Nats. First, this IS a good idea, no? Second, should I just do sprints leading up to it or should I do an Oly or two? I know recovery for a sprint is minimal, I'v never really done a true Oly but I imagine it's not bad. My plan is to try and train right through them with no taper and limited recovery time. Since I am slightly pinched for training anyway. |

He had his Senate ID card, House of Representatives ID card, and his gun permit in there. HAHAHA I have no idea why that's all really funny to me, but it is. Juxtaposition? She trounced me as usual. Doing a fly-out to Bali early morn tomorrow, whirlwind of errands and document-location around the Funny Farm, and back to Jakarta by evening.
