I went "bouldering" last night, and I can NOT feel my ARMS AT ALL... The guys I was climbing with were like "dude this should be easy for you...You do Ironmans!" Bull crap... This was hard.... I woke up this morning thinking about how I can conquer some of the routes I couldn't get last night! I am hooked! BUT SORE! Dude, I am getting worried about you. You need to find a hobby that is not hazardous to your health. Let’s recap what you have done in the past few months, running with tumors on your larynx, mountain hiking with bears, climbing boulders, Ironman. Can't you do something simple, like fishing? Of course knowing you it would have to be Alaskan King Crabbing or spear fishing. DON'T KILL YOUSELF!! Your mentor group is stepping up their races for next year and we need you to be around. Purely selfish reasons of course
I don't drink alcohol while I work out... I wait until I am done... Usually when I fish, I hike up to a secluded lake somewhere fly fish and hang out with Kona... Edited by swbkrun 2008-10-09 7:41 PM |

Master 1952 Guelph, Ontario | Subject: RE: swbkrun's group - FULL Job search is going Ok. Have a couple of leads but nothing even remotely firm yet. Thankfully I have a settlement form my previousu company so I have some time not to have to worry about cash flow. Spending lots of time on the net and networking with all my associates. I think I am going to try going into a different field. I've been in the finance field for over 35 years and would like a change. If that doesn't work out I'll go back to the same industry and slug it out for a few more years until retirement. I do get more time to work out and can do it during the day. Or at least I will next week once my grandson goes back home. I've been babysitting him for the past week and he is a full time job. |

HAHA that would be funny to go find a sprint to do, though the marathon doesn't start until 8:00 and most tri's start earlier than that. |

Elite 5316 Alturas, California | Subject: RE: swbkrun's group - FULL Yay first snowfall of the year... early. Evening swim at the lake is gona be cold no two ways around it. I hope the snow melts for my long workouts this weekend. /emote morns the faltering hours of sunlight and the non icy roads. My Oly this summer was cool because they had a playground 50 feet from the finish line with picnic tables and such. So the fam could hang out have lunch and play on the playground while waiting for me to finish. It was also set up with a double loop on the run so they got a 25 min warning when I would be back through to the finish line. Edited by Baowolf 2008-10-10 9:25 AM |

Ok Tracy, I'm going to cut you a little slack because you did get the team names correct, but football is played on Sunday or Monday, unless it's Thursday and only occassionally on Saturday but not until the college season is over - well not over, but between the regular and bowl seasons. Catch that? And baseball is into the playoffs and the Orioles are not. You could hit up all the bike shops and take a bunch of test rides. You might just find something you like |

I would suggest go see a Terps game but that would be considered cruel and unusual torture given the way they are playing right now. And in my opinion baseball goes on WAY TOO LONG so I'm sure there is a game somewhere being played. It is the only sport I know of where it is considered entertainment to watch a guy scratch himself, spit, and eventually throw a ball every 9 minutes!! Therefore I will stick to my gender and go with my first suggestion, GO SHOPPING!!!! |

I'm trying to come up with something clever about pasties and poles vs permanent marker and bikes, but it just won't come together. Sorry to disappoint. I'm loosing my touch. Help me out Rob On a side note, when I found that stripper name game on Yahoo, I accidently opened some type of u-tube link of dirty videos. I don't know what they were, I closed them as quick as I could, but more kept popping open. We'll see if I still have a job on Monday. |
