I have felt this since the beginning of the week and today was the worse I am trying to stay away from people so I don't bite anyone's head off. I have also noticed how exhausted I am this week next week is a recovery week I hope that helps. yep, sure do. this is when i really start listening to my body and MOST importantly the support crew. if the wife starts dropping hints or the kids start avoiding eye contact, time to take it easy. i know i keep saying this and i'm not advocating slacking off, but a day or two off will not impact your physical fitness at all and just might do wonders for the mental stability of not only yourself, but the family, friends and co-workers. and remember you can always come up here and yell at us. lots of folks say racing your first half is a huge learning experience. i'd suggest training for your first half is an even bigger, challenging and enlightening experience. and lastly, don't forget this is supposed to be fun! hang in there and smile!!! 7 weeks til taper!!! awesome job getting the wresting match in and cutting the run back. |
