Robin, I am wfh today. As soon as I log off, around 1:00, I am taking a nap!

Robin, other than we will be there sometime Friday evening I really don't have an ETA. What started out as taking the scenic route down, where we cut through TN, because Keri at least wanted to be in the state, has no turned into us possibly still going to Knoxville, and taking a quick trip through the campus. It all depends on what time we get out of the house, and how everyone is feeling. I'll have my phone, and tablet, so as long as I have internet access I will try to let you know what is going on.

I picked up wine yesterday, 2 bottles of scrapple, and 2 different reds.

The best way to get a message through is through the home phone or an e-mail, or a FB message cause that sends an e-mail. I'll be working Friday and the cell phone does not work in the house, so I don't get calls or texts on it.

The snow has started here.

we are at the southern edge of the snow. None here, but maybe tonight. And I am afraid the cold will zap the flowering trees and forsythia. Sigh, it happens every couple of years. I am glad I have been able to enjoy the flowers until now. We need to pull some Ghoulie ju-ju out for the weather this weekend. The temps are better, but they are still calling for rain on Sat.

My crocus' just started blooming here. I've been watching the weather and the chance of rain bobbles from 40-70%. I'm sending all the no rain juju I got south this weekend.

Good Morning!  We have had several beautiful sunny days... mowed the lawn,  took dogs to park, even jogged with Hanna!  This morning the rain started again.  Conditions at the bad mudslide up north were already unstable.  This is going to be worse now. 

I just checked the weather for this weekend and Fri says rain, sat says showers, sun says sun.  Showers are better than rain.  Maybe it will shower were we arent'.

Sounds like the condition north of you is going from bad to worse.

Good morning Ghoulies!

I've been up since 1:37 this morning. I'm ready to go back to bed now. I'm WFH again, so as soon as I'm done I'll be passing out. I got up, got ready, and started heading into work. It was snowing, and there was a thin coating of snow on the road, over top of what I think is probably ice from melted snow refreezing overnight. The roads were SLICK! There are reports of accidents on all the major highways right now.

spring is gone here today. All of the pretty flowers are brown and will be mush by tomorrow! This happens every couple of years. I used to get all bummed about it, now I just sigh and wait for the next round of flowers. I just hope the fruit on the trees got set and didn't freeze. We will see in a month or so.

Ann, Good choice. There are wrecks everywhere. People seem to think that since it is just a dusting of snow, it doesn't matter what is under it!

I am glad that it should all be gone and dried up by the time I have to leave at 0 dark thirty tomorrow.

Robin, where are you going at 0 dark thirty tomorrow?  Better be home for the Ghoulies this weekend,

Another rainy day here, but I guess it is better than snow.  I just bought air plane tickets for August vacation.  We will spend a week in Texas with my brother and sister and their spouses.  I am ready for that heat ... even with the humidity!

Fantastic! What part of Texas are you going to?

We will be going to San Antonio and Corpus Christi.  My brother lives in the hill country about 45 minutes west of San Antonio.

Fun! The heat and humidity will definitely be there in August. It will be a nice change for you.

I have always wanted to go play in San Antonio! I expect lots of pictures! (I live vicariously).
