wurkit_gurl - 2008-01-18 8:26 AM Happy Friday, people! I could not be more glad that it's the weekend.

Long weekend for everybody?

I'm off on Monday.  My boss is British (and an absent minded professor) and has a habit of not remembering American holidays, but he hasn't scheduled anything like he has been known to do so I certainly won't be working.

Oh, right, Monday is MLK Day, isn't it? Yeah, we don't get that off...

I work for a bank and have to work on Monday. My bank is America's Most Convenient Bank, and is only closed four days/year - Christmas, New Years Day, Easter, and T-giving.

I've got an idea, maybe we should open a bank that is only closed three days/year and call it America's Most Most Convenient Bank.

So if I walked in to your bank and demanded a drink and a massage,
would you have to comply? You know, being America's most convenient
bank and all.

No, but we're open 7:20 a.m. - 8:10 p.m., and have greeters at the door and someone to walk you to your car with an umbrella if it's raining. We also have lollypops for the kids and dog biscuits for the pups available at the counter. Free coin counting (the first bank to ever offer it), with prizes if you guess within $2.00 the amount of coins you have. Free, instant-issue ATM/Check card, free gift cards (accepted wherever VISA is), etc., etc...

Maybe...I'm kinda worn out from this week, and after sitting around in the hottub, I doubt I'm gonna want to get all cuted up again to go out.

Cool! I have a "C" bank (ask for one when you go there) that's basically full, so I will be taking my coins in over the weekend or next week...whenever I get around to it. Should be fun! It's always a good time at the Penny Arcade coin-counting machine

There's one in Leesburg too, by 3558.

I'll let you know when we'll be having grand opening celebrations in your area (prob not 'til March). They are fun as there is lots of free food (usually hot stuff), and a DJ, and games, and prizes, and we give away money every hour, etc. .

Yeppers! $50 every hour, and $500 cash at 1 p.m. Of course, this is all subject to change, so don't hold me to it. It's just how most of them go.

YOu can have a dance-off -- the employees usually do. They also usually have a hoola-hoop contest . Face painters, stilt walkers, magicianss, and jugglers too .

Don't hold you to it? I am going to show up and tell them that you said that they
would give me $500. And then to please walk me back to my car with it.

Well, running afterwards is preferable to driving after it, right?
