ScotinSeattle - 2008-03-03 4:54 PM I am going to attempt to ride a little during the day. My calves are so tight right now though. Ouch.

Stretchy stretchy stretchy!!!

Im 'blessed' with tight calves and everytime Ive been injured theyve been a factor.... so just keep stretching... everytime you get off your bottom!

BTW MDHillSlug my team also won the Superbowl. I used to be known as 'Giantsrbest' until I changed it a couple of months ago. Duh! Wish I hadn't now.

So, how did a bloke from the UK become a Yankees and Giants fan? I saw this about you and requested to be on the same team with you as they are also my favorite teams.

Because they are the BEST

How about getting you into the best soccer team in the world.

http://theblues.chelseafc.com/america/home.shtml

BTW the Giants practiced at their training ground when they played the Dolphins at Wembley.

I won't say anything about the England cricket team because even Cat knows that they are going to whoop the Kiwis this week. Don't think the game will last a full five days. Ain't that right Cat?

Rest day today, may do some hillwork tomorrow. Some nice rides so far but you've lost me on the food stuff. Vegemite, thought that was an Ozzie thing.

I am also jealous of the bike ride!!  I think I may go ride on the trainer in the garage for a while to blow off steam.  I am one cranky mama this evening.  Weekends usually drive me insane, and this one has been very nuts.  Next Saturday I work (which is very rare) and then immediately fly off to Disneyland with the family, so I have a lot to get done this week, including getting going on week 5 of the Oly plan!  I swear the kids are out to get me, really I do.

Now, Lynne, how is it that you have a hangover???  Hmmmm......you'd better be on that bike tomorrow, girlie!!!

glad mine is grown up and "Pretty" much on her own....but dont get mad....GET EVEN...go get on that bike and ride!! I just put in another 30+ miles in the wind today....and I am pooped!

Crud: 9:42 PM and I haven't ridden.  I will do it tomorrow one way or another, hopefully just by getting out early before the family gets moving.  I have had to move the next ten days around so they are all wonky anyway.   I will be biking a ton when I am back from my trip, that's for sure!

Wow, your riding sounds awesome!  Good job!!!!

thanks! hope you got in your ride today!! are the kids treating you any better? durn kids...they sure do know how to drive us bonkers...do they not!!? call in the nanny...from tv...that'l fix em!

Peeeeeps!!!   No bike ride this weekend at all for me.  I do plan on making it up.

I spent most of the evening catching up on penpal letters and watching Billy Connolly's World Tour of Scotland. Oh it's excited me even more for my trip home looking at all the beautiful Scottish scenery and hearing all those lovely accents.  Ahhhhhhh.  Canny beat it!

I was willing to take care of the reporting, etc, but I'm not a very good cheerleader. Julie, do you want to be team leader, split the job, have me help out? My toes are safely out of your reach; step right in if you'd like!

I'm hoping the weather will cooperate for me to do my first bike commute of '08 tomorrow morning (11 miles each way). Rain ending overnight tonight, temps look good, but it may be windy.
