I hope you're all riding a lot...I  left some inspires today from your bikes because it looked to me like the bikes were getting pretty lonely.  Can't have a lonely bike, it gets sad...

Okay Spooky Cats,

I took my bike out today--just a short spin in the hood after dinner with one of my daughters. It was getting dark out and neither one of us have headlights, she was in dark colored clothes so I made her come in after 5 miles.  I also had to go painfully slow to let her keep up with me somewhat...Oh well, a ride is a ride.

Just saying if I'm headed out there for a ride I hope there's some spin classes or trainer rides going on somewhere cause I'm looking at a lot of very empty logs.  Don't want to be a marshmallow (besides, I'm not tech savvy enough to reset my avatar without a whole lot of help)

No time today, tomorrow at lunch, I'm hitting the gym. It's still winter here...although today was nice, I could only admire from inside my office. We're supposed to get "winter mix" this weekend, which means snow/rain/icky stuff.

Hey Spooky Cats,

What I find really spooky is the absence of any biking in your logs this week.  Remember the spreadsheet needs to be updated and if it isn't in the logs it's not considered done.  If anyone is having any health related issues or family issues that prevent you from completing this you can let either Cat or myself know and we can readjust goals/withdraw if necessary.

To those of you racing this weekend: good luck and have fun--then come back and tell your teammates about how you killed the bike split!

Hey cats!  I just got back from a nice long vacation.  It looks like Indiana is starting to finally thaw out - it's starting to feel like spring.  I'm planning on a nice long ride tomorrow to make up for my lack of tri-related activity during the week.  I'm with Zipp - I don't want to have to change my avatar to a peep.  Let's get pedaling and show those other teams what we can do!

Well, I was all set to go out for a ride after church today--till I saw the wind blow our grill across the deck.  I settled for a date with coach Troy.

Hope you're all riding today--except Scott who is recovering from his triathalon yesterday!  Stop by and check out his race report.  he did a great job in some very windy conditions!

Hey peeps! Work has killed me this week, and then I had to travel this weekend. I am going to scrape the dust off my bike so I can do some serious catching up. It was painful to look at my empty logs after I got back today. I am so ready to get back in the groove.

Shawn,

Those are some sweet upgrades to your bike.  Sounds like "Pi,p My Ride" came to the 2 wheeled set!

Just did a log check gang...it isn't pretty.  Again, if you are having serious issues that need a readjustment of your goals let Cat or myself know and we can help you out.

If you raced this weekend the bike split counts as part of your bike totals so make sure the distance/times get put up in the race reports in a timely manner.  To those of you who raced this weekend:GREAT JOB and CONGRATULATIONS on finishing!

Quick question on the spreadsheet - for week 2 should it just be our week 2 minutes or a total for week 1 and week 2?

I think it's a cumulative total.  Cat is away a a conference, we can check with Drr since she did the google spread sheet.

I may have to keep posting this to get a few of you on your bikes!  I'd rather be friendly about it than nag but I do whatever it takes to win challenges

Cat or zipp1....as much as I hate to do this, I'm going to have to lower my goal. I've been sick with bronchitis for three days now, and I still feel like I have a slow burning fire in my lungs when I try to do anything like exercise. I didn't have a very big goal to start with at 8 hours, but could I lower it to 6? This has been a tough month!!

I too did not realize that it is a cumulative total, therefore, I have updated the spreadsheet to reflect a cumulative total. Now, with that said it looks a bit better from my end.

Didn't realize the totals for the week 2 column were cumulitive either. Corrected the spreadsheet. I'm at 87.5% of my goal. I'll have to hit 100% this week though, as I have an overseas business trip the entire last week of the month.
