Hard to believe it was all middle school kids (they didn't have enough guys try out though so FDR and the radio announcer were played by teachers) Yay!! Good for the girls and the proud mom A little kid in the neighborhood near mine asked me how you got a bike like mine--he even referred to my bike as sweet (cute kid unfortunately neither he nor any of his friends riding with him were wearing helmets which just makes my blood boil cause they were roughly age 6-11 years old) See, Judi??!! Sweeeetttt bike! You should love it more |

Heh But WAIT, Kristen!!!!! All that time in hilly Atlanta and you didn't learn to love the hills?! I'm so confused. Of course, I can't learn to love swimming and running so I really have no room to talk. I'm going to go read your RR, so I'll shut up now. Carry on. |

My foot is really bothering me and even though the doc said I could walk the race this weekend, I am having second thoughts. Not sure if the set back would be worth it (or the pain, and yes, I am still in major pain). I AM BUMMED! |

I'm sorry you are still in pain, but pulling out of the challenge is probably the best idea so that you can take it easy and heal. You're probably better off not doing the race. It sucks, but it will be better for you in the long run. I know how much it sucks. |

Went to church, went grocery shopping, and ran a couple of errands. Rest day - although I'm envious of everyone I see running today...I hate to rest. The pollen is something here - you'd think the rain yesterday would have helped, but our cars are all yellow again already. Luckily it doesn't bother me, but it drives Sugar Daddy & Elder Monkey up the wall. Have a good day - I'm sure I'll be back later. |

So glad it made it on time! Race report is up and race is complete. DD birthday celebration is in progress. Took her to get her ears pierced. We will be having dinner with grandparents and opening presents tonight at 5:30. My race went great. It was cold, but sunny. I won!!! First Place Overall Female!! Before y'all get too excited, there were only 21 women racing. But hey, I'll take it. I was 19th overall out of men And women. Not too shabby! |

Did as well as I could, but I had to stop early. Judi and I went to Starbucks after. I was still cold even after sitting there for awhile and drinking coffee. It was really interesting - have some good points on sighting and drafting in my log. |
