Final week kids...... Honor, Pride and Bragging Rights are at stake here. Let's do the miles or at least the minutes.

Got another big weekend planned to push me over and into Paris on Sunday and I'm not talking Paris, KY.

Bobke says you can do it and I know Bobke; he doesnt kid around when it comes to finishing what you startMoney mouth

No, Cat is capping at 100%.  But you should ride to work on Friday anyway.

Hey team, we've only got 4 days left of riding!!  We're at 75% for the team, so we've definitely got some work to do.  Monday was 2/3 of the way through the challenge, so we should all be at least at 66%.  Congratulations to Heather (geauxtri)!!!  She's the first to reach 100%!!

Here's where we all stand.  I know some people have plans with long rides this weekend, but I want to post this so we can all encourage each other at the end this week.

Overachievers (over 80%)

geauxtri (100%)
Artemis (91.79%)
enders_shadow (87.44%)

Right on track (over 66%)

lwood tri (73.96%)
jenni4 (70.71%)
geezerjock (68.34%)
wemoon (66.93%)

Need some long workouts (under 66%

MaesMama (58.52%)

Agreed - thanks, Jen!

I'm now at 100% for my stages, but I still need 6 more miles (which I'll get easy tomorrow...have a nice long ride planned before I abandon my bike for a week on vacation).

Bring it home, Burritos!

Okay,
I am going to gut out my last 3 stages. one tonight, two over the weekend, and it will definitely be gutting. 3 42 minute trainer stages with a possible neck injury. I am seeing the neck doc on tuesday but I would rather do the trainer than the road right now. No bouncing on the trainer and no risk of wrecking and further damaging my neck. I almost abandoned, but I couldn't do that do my Garmin-Chipotle mates. I will see you all in Paris on Sunday. Even if I am on the trainer, I will be there.

Stage 6 complete

Whoops, 50 minutes. Figured I would push tonight since I didn't feel too bad. Tomorrow will be worse after work and before date night.

It took me an extra stage, but I'm 100% in both! In fact, I'm over by about 18 miles, but that's OK.

Finish strong, Burritos!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend of riding!!

The TdF Challenge will be over soon. So how are you going to stay motivated NEXT month? Interested in another challenge?

There is a "Casual Challenge" planned for August. You can set goals for RUNNING and/or SWIMMING and/or BIKING and/or OTHER (strength, yoga, etc) and/or WEIGHT LOSS. (You may sign up for ANY or ALL of these goals.)

There will be no teams (unless we get a lot of people signing up, then I'll split the group). It's just a friendly challenge to help people achieve their workout and weightloss goals.

Click below to read about the August challenge, or sign up for it:

Hi Team,

Just a reminder this is the final day of the TDF challenge - I hope everyone has enjoyed themselves

There has been a little confusion over how the final results will be calculated so from the original thread with the challenge rules here are the details :

"The winning team will be determined by the overall % of goal amount of stages and % of distance/time achieved by the team. (each goal counts for 50% of your overall goal achieved)"

What this means is you cannot achieve more than 50% from with of your totals... I havent had any requests for clarification sent to me but i thought I better just remind everyone!

Results will be up in the next couple of days, so just make sure your team spreadsheet is up to date
