Mila,

I listened to you. I figured if you...Queen of all things related to bikes, told me not to ride today then I needed to heed that warning.  (I really wanted to ride too)  So, I swam my arms off with a really intense focus on the finish of my stroke.  I hope the pool piglet is happy at practice Tuesday morning.

Well thank goodness somebody listens to me... cause I can assure you that no human or animal that lives in my house does .

Your hip flexors will thank you for it and your pool piglet will be duly impressed.

I love the bike!  I am currently riding a 12 year old Giant mountin bike with slicks...So anything will be an adjustment.  I really like the Trek though...Hopefully my DH will be getting me a bike for Christmas

Oooohhh... nice!!!

The thing about bikes is this:  you really don't know the difference until you ride something better... so you are spot on with your comparison to the mtb with slicks!! I still remember that He-Who-Know-All-Things-Bike once told me that while DA components may rock, until I ride on them, I'll be perfectly happy with Ultegra.

Of course, this is gonna create a bit of a problem once I ride the SRAM Red but I digress...

Point being, you'll be happy with whatever bike you end up with... and if it's that 2.1 WSD, yippee!!!  I think the current color scheme is red and white, right? Oh, that has sooooo much potential for accessorizing!

My kids and cats don't listen well either.

Miss Thing 2 went to the grocery store with me.  Soon as we got there she spots a friend and her family.  She ran and picked out the makeup she said I promised she could have for her 13th birthday tosses it in the cart and disappears with the firnd to Kohl's.  I got ditched by my own kid.

Well, it was cold for that ride yesterday finally. I wanted to do at least 60 km but after 45 some body parts reminded me that it was too cold :p

As far as today goes, master swimer tonight.

*sigh* Starting tomorrow the weather will get warmer, sure now that I am working ...

Welcome to the world of Teenage Girls!   I've got three of them -- you get used to the ditching.  Hang on to your wallet!  They get expensive quick in places like Kohl's!

Well, toughed my way through a very hard run this morning.  Pace was like a yo-yo and my legs felt like lead.  But I got my run on for the team (ok selfishly, for me too...)

Got to get to the office, but had to take a minute and bump up the post count encourage everyone!..

Have a great day!

I'm usually in the early riser club but not so much today .  I'm being particularly lazy, but I'll still get some kind of workout in because, you see, I am an endorphin junkie and if I don't, I might start to twitch.

Mmmmm hmmmm... now where do I sign up for that?

I keep trying to secure a sugar daddy but so far I've had no takers.  I don't understand why.  My needs are simple:  bikes and spandex.  In return, I will say "thanks a bunch" and I will even refrain from using my whips and tasers.  Unless, of course, he likes that sort of thing .

I am not in the early morning workout group, but the workouts are what I am looking forward to all day usually.... These days it doesn't come that easily... I am glad to be in this challenge and therefore held accountable to do something anyways.

I am not much of an early morning guy, except when I have something at night that will stop me from having my workout done. In those cases I get up early and do it before going to work.
