I figured if you...Queen of all things related to bikes, told me not to ride today then I needed to heed that warning. (I really wanted to ride too) So, I swam my arms off with a really intense focus on the finish of my stroke. I hope the pool piglet is happy at practice Tuesday morning. Well thank goodness somebody listens to me... cause I can assure you that no human or animal that lives in my house does . Your hip flexors will thank you for it and your pool piglet will be duly impressed. |

I am currently riding a 12 year old Giant mountin bike with slicks...So anything will be an adjustment. I really like the Trek though...Hopefully my DH will be getting me a bike for Christmas Oooohhh... nice!!! The thing about bikes is this: you really don't know the difference until you ride something better... so you are spot on with your comparison to the mtb with slicks!! I still remember that He-Who-Know-All-Things-Bike once told me that while DA components may rock, until I ride on them, I'll be perfectly happy with Ultegra. Of course, this is gonna create a bit of a problem once I ride the SRAM Red but I digress... Point being, you'll be happy with whatever bike you end up with... and if it's that 2.1 WSD, yippee!!! I think the current color scheme is red and white, right? Oh, that has sooooo much potential for accessorizing! |

She ran and picked out the makeup she said I promised she could have for her 13th birthday tosses it in the cart and disappears with the firnd to Kohl's. I got ditched by my own kid. |

Welcome to the world of Teenage Girls! I've got three of them -- you get used to the ditching. Hang on to your wallet! They get expensive quick in places like Kohl's!

I'm usually in the early riser club but not so much today . I'm being particularly lazy, but I'll still get some kind of workout in because, you see, I am an endorphin junkie and if I don't, I might start to twitch.

My needs are simple: bikes and spandex. In return, I will say "thanks a bunch" and I will even refrain from using my whips and tasers. Unless, of course, he likes that sort of thing . |
