Feeling a bit better today.  I slept almost all day yesterday.  Sweet!  I'm gonna take it easy today but still plan to get a workout in, either swim or at the very least, a walk/hike.

Congrats to everyone on being in first place!

Thank you all for the wishes and encouragement in my log.  I'm feeling a bit better at the moment...even got in a real run yesterday for the first time in nearly two weeks.  Taking today off entirely to recoup, though.  Glad to see POG is doing so well...keep it up!

I got a run done this morning. I'm liking the extra daylight in the AM, but I know it will be gone again in a few weeks.

Our thread is in danger of falling off the bottom of the page. I know it's because we are all out getting our training in- that said I think I will baby the knee and take the poopy puppies for a walk today...and maybe do a weight session at the gym...and then maybe the housework.  Well maybe not the housework-I think I need a challenge group for that, although on second thought I might not join if there was one.  Have a great day!

x2 on the housework!  I hate housework.  I keep saying I need a housekeeper!  I wish I could log laundry!  I have a ton of it today!

I have to laugh at the housework comments ~ as much as I hate it I at least vacume every day.  Close your mouths...it's only because Sam will fall asleep to the sound of the vacume so I take advantage of it!   I have no idea what I'm going to end up doing today for a work out but I promise I'll get one in!

Housework aaaaarrrrgh!!! I swear to Gawd the only reason I work out so much is because I use it as an avoidance strategy for the dreaded housework. The only thing I love to do is cook.....

I hate freakin housework too and don't do ANY besides occasional dusting with a feather duster!  I keep the house neat and tidy and then have a maid come and clean once every month or two when I can't stand the dust and not so hidden dirt!

I don't cook much either but I'm a master at laundry and don't even mind it!

Got my POG point today by doing a 4 mile Z1 run at lunch.  I hate running that slow!

We have someone come in once every other week to clean and vacuum.

I went mountain biking today, only my second time ever. I was on a borrowed bike that I wasn't familiar with. It had some shifting issues that fouled me a few time. I was definitely lying in the leaves more than anyone else, but I didn't get hurt at all. It was fun but I think I prefer road riding. It funny, but I love speed on the road; I was scared of it off road.

Mountain biking is totally different than road biking isn't it?  I'm with you on the speed factor.  It's fun on the road but flying through a rock garden makes me a bit nervous!  I bought a mountain bike this fall and have been trying to get out to the trails more.  I like it but I suck!

It's way different!

There weren't many rocks, but there were lots of tree roots and tree trunks to cross. I pretty much endo'ed on one.

Good morning POGs!

my body is sore from yesterday's mtb, especially my arms, so I decided to take it easy this morning by doing stretching and yoga. I did the "Gentle Unwind" session and the "Back Bends" session. It felt really good. Tomorrow, back to running.

Have a great day!
