Hi Robert. Is the weather any better? Where in Quebec do you live? You have to be pretty tough to withstand those winters I imagine.

Yeah the weather is nice today. I live in Quebec, Quebec ... yeah we're original like that here. The province and the city have the same name.

The temp is cold here, it can get to minus 30C/35C during winter and that's not counting the wind. Last winter we got around 18 foot of snow

But still, I can't convince myself to run on the treadmill, I always run outside. I just love that.

I totally would have run outside today, but it was sort of a time management thing

probably doesn't make much sense, but when you run over the lunch hour - every minute counts

Yeah I hear ya, I try to run in the morning so I don't have that problem on lunch hour. I prefer to go swim on lunch time, but the pool is only opened monday, wednesday and friday so I have to arrange my schedule around that hehe.

I just finished a 45 minutes trainer ride to start the day, now off to work.

Have a great day team

I'm soooo, not a morning person, plus I hate running in the dark - so lunch time seems to be working for now

I was really good about working out in the morning - I had a training partner and that made it much easier to get out of bed cuz I knew I'd be in trouble if I missed

Just finished a 7.25 mile run, my longest since the marathon. It felt so good. Of course the carpy weather is on the way so it will likely be my last outdoor run for awhile. I'll do some abs later. Slowly chipping away at my goals!

Now I'm off to Brooklyn to paint some more.

Alright team Grit!!!

I got a 14.68 mile run in today.  My farthest yet.  Marathon training.  Time for a nap!

I wish I was a morning person too.  I try to be but my workouts aren't as good.  Especially in the winter when it's cold, dark, and slippery.  Robert is one tough cheerleader!

Have a great day team Grit!

Yeah, not because I wanted to.  It'll accidentally disappear soon!

It's snowing.  Life sucks.  Wine is flowing.  Makes life better.  How are you? Any painting today?

No painting today. A trip out to Brooklyn yielded nothing and I got a migraine and couldn't bear to do even simple things so I came back here and have been packing. Sigh. I decided not to drink tonight. My body is so run down.

Geez, that sucks!  Sorry to hear it.   I think you need a trip to the spa!  Or somewhere warm with a cabana boy!   Relax on the beach for a few days.

Hope tomorrow is a better day!
