It took all afternoon to change that freaking tire....the last little bit would nOT go on the rim for me.  Sad thing is my daughter got it for me.  I lost all my daylight working on that f*cking tire.

Well, I suppose you could practice tire changing in your living room. In a few days, it'll be a breeze. (Says the person who doesn't have a tire to change. LOL)

Some tyres are more fiddly than others too....

Some tyres are more fiddly than others too....

I had called my friend to see if she had any tips for me.  She said new tires can be really hard and she's had to take at least one in that she couldn't get re seated.  That made me feel better.  At least I got the tire back on the frame without messing up the gears.  I nees to test it out riding before zaSat.  Hopefully I'll get a chance tomorrow.

In my case i would have taken it to work and made CG look at it... so I see no problem with this!

I work with an avid rider.  I would have considered asking his help but he probably would give me a bunch of crap about it.  He invited me on the group ride today and I had to skip it to fix the tire as well as be home since my husband had a dinner meeting

I just take the hard time i get given now... and TRY to do it with good grace...

The bottom line is most of them LIKE that someone new is getting into it... ESPECIALLY when its a female!
