I missed my Monday accountability, but I'll fess up now...

Breakfast: mojo bar and vitamin water

Snack: oatmeal

Lunch: can of ravioli

Dinner: 10 McDonald's chicken nuggets...no fries

Snack: mojo bar

I'm sure glad we don't have to be accountable on Tuesdays!



Hey, atleast you avoided the fries!

I was not accountable today either.

I've been sick for almost a week    I'm pretty sure this will mean a decent weight loss (it was just a cold, but hard to eat b/c of sore throat). However, it means I'm behind on my training. Ugh.

How does this work this team skinny thing I am an obese person wanting to try triathlon.  I have lost a bit of weight over the last few months I currently weigh an astonishing 106.5 (16st 10lb) Kilos I would like to be down around 85kg or 14st or so.  I however at my worst weight a scale breaking 20stone (127kg). Next goal is to go under 100kg and not be obese no more.

@Neilman - I've just joined myself and from what I gather its a case of stating your monthly weight loss target, your weight at the start of the month and then your weight every Wednesday. Then its a case of using the peer pressure to focus your mind on achieving your targets. Please correct me anyone if I'm wrong!

So my Wednesday weigh in is 282.4lb

Making that -3.6lb since last Wednesday

oh and a bit late but if I've got this accountability Monday thing right then Monday was an unusual day for me... honest!

Still... glad you never asked about Tuesday!

breakfast = sandwich @ 250

snack = banana + apple @ 150

lunch = kipper + protein shake @ 400

snack = pasta + skimmed milk @ 490

dinner = pasta + skimmed milk + yoghurt @ 515

snack = pasta + skimmed milk @ 200

Tot = 2005

That's great for a one-week loss, Bikefu! And a good description of the Team Skinny process too.

I weighed in this morning at 134.5, meaning zero change from last week. I know I promised I'd be down, but I had a bunch of Haagen Daz with the family last night and have been snacking on fudge since Saturday. But now it's all gone and I can focus on being good!

I have some sports nutrition books that I'm reading and hoping to become more motivated. The truth is that I really, really want to ditch the fat off my waist and thighs, but I don't want to stop eating junk food. *sigh*

Good explanation Bikefu.  However,  In your foodstuffs I see little protein and a lot of carbs.....Back away from the carbs and imbrace the protein.

Welcome Neilman.  We are here to help those that want a little accountability, advice and of course the occasional harrassment.  Set a reasonable monthly goal and weigh in on Wed's.  Everything is about baby steps so take your time relax and enjoy the ride.

I am down .8 to 145.2 today. Apparently the 144.8 was dehydration at the start of the month. I will take the lost since I had a girls weekend away this past weekend and tried to be good. I will hopefully be close to 143 or 142 (goal) at month's end.

Eternal dilemma for me too!!  Not been exercising as the Munchkin had a stinking cold so I was stuck at home, same weight as last week.  Well done to all the losers.

Haha... Harassment is good!  Best way to keep everyone's gut in check!  Hehe...

Weighing in at 188 again.  Sheesh!  Gotta lay off the carbs but it was a stressful week.

Of course the next few days isnt good either.  Taking kids to Sesame Place!  Yummy Elmo faced cupcakes!  And the mrs. and jr. are taking Mommy and Me cupcake baking class!  

Lets hope I can lay off the cupcakes for at least 2 out of the 3 days!

This week ROCKED!! So I made a few changes to my weight loss plan of attack .

1. I started following Jillian Michaels "Making the Cut" for some added strength training.
2. My BFF and I are keeping each other accountable by committing to the same workouts, nutrition, and weight loss goals for June.
3. Purchased a bikini for Vegas.- Yikes!

Down a pound, which I feel pretty good about since I traveled last weekend,  went to a family picnic, and am tapering.

Monthly goal: 225 (I figure with the water weight that should come off this is achievable for the first month).
