Happiness is Trixie running with her friend talking about risque schtuff and I got to tag along for awhile (makes interesting conversation AND keeps the mind off of racing). More happiness is when Trixie greets you at the finish line and hangs the finisher medal on. Way cool! BT/Donkey support was out in full force yesterday. It was unbelievable the number of peeps out there volunteering and jockstrapping! I'm beat and sore from the waist down, but, I can't be any happier! Have a great day, TAN! |

Extreme Veteran 785 Indiana | Subject: RE: TAN # 84 - The TAN-somest Thread Ever Morning TAN. I had the most interesting thing happen to me this morning! Dropped the kids off at school ran a couple of errands, came home and made myself a cup of coffee went outside and sat on the patio chair watching the sun rise, when I felt something brush against the back of my calf Looked down, and it was a Skunk! I just froze thinking "if I move I'm in trouble"! It finished sniffing around and went off into the field. I never had that happen before!!! We live next to a corn field about 50 yards from our home, and have all kinds of critters like Jack Rabbits, squirrels, Raccoons, but this is the first time I've had an encounter with a Skunk. In fact this is the first time I've ever been this close to one. "Weird"! Edited by kiwi4j 2009-09-14 9:02 AM |

Awesome. Now get outta that class and come race with the rest of us! Good race for me this weekend... let's just say this Clyde took home his first hardware. I'll have the RR up soon. And TOPPAGE!!! I'm on top of the world! No way man. I've decided that, instead of training harder and continuing to take on longer, harder races, I'll just slack off on training and keep doing sprints. It will be just as much of a physical challenge on race day... And I like the fat boy division... there's more to love. my first olympic was easier than my first sprint, just saying, and i slacked off on training all the time :P |

We trapped a couple close to our house and took them and released them - talk about being nervous. it's like messing w/ a time bomb about to go off. Knock on wood we released 2 without incident. Yeah, I was thinking is anybody else seeing this?! It acted like it was just checking me out, then it went off like it was no big deal! |

I haven't been hung over for 2 days... but before that it had been eons. Curse you vodka, but you made my friday night very relaxing. Just finished a fairly long discussion with a coworker on the movie Stripes. It all started when she said she was too young to have seen it. We're the same age, and I've seen it multiple times. She seems to think that if a movie came out before your time, then you shouldn't watch it. Now I'm curious if she has seen Star Wars. |
