I'm not that excited about being in the last wave, but I guess someone has to be.

Being in the last wave means it's just that many more of us you can pass on your way to the finish

 I will 1607 for the sprint on Satuday   start 8:42  Who all is doing the Oly?

That's one way to look at it, but I'm afraid if I make that a goal I'll go out to hard and blow up! HA! At least the bike part shouldn't be too crowded. I have to look at the positives.

call off work for the next two weeks,, do 6hrs training a day for days 1-12, then taper on the 13th & 14th day..

I'm Oly-ing. Bib# 1436, Green wave, 8:34 start. My first Oly, my 3rd tri ever.

BTW, if you are 1607, William F. with a start time of 8:42, you are listed with the Oly-ers. Not the sprinters. Those guys start at 7:12.

Oly for me.  Bib# 1285, blue cap, Wave 11, 8:30 go-time.

Yes it is the Oly I had a miss print, or brain fart one of the two but the 1607 is me for the Oly and a late enough start to catch wind on the run  But I do wish that I could start at 7:12 now that would be nice

same place you get your wave start time.  first column is the bib #.

Unless I'm missing it they changed the link and no longer have the same pdf attached.  The new one only shows wave and start time, no more names......Has anyone else noticed the change.

Yep, saw that yesterday. I had already downloaded the Oly, Sprint, and 70.3 waves with bib numbers before the change was made. If anyone is really interested and wants one of the files with names and bib numbers, PM me your email address and I will be glad to send it to you.

sorry about that.  didn't know they change the .pdf file.  i printed my AG off last week sometime. 

they prob had too many corrections to keep updating.

My husband (I KenOtt Swim) and I will both be volunteering Sunday (body marking/transition), we live here in Houston.

According to Keith the RD, no, it will not be.

I realize that there is not a "sponsored" swim this year but can we at least get in the water there to practice swim?

FYI for those wanting to swim.
288 Lakes just posted on their Facebook page they will open at Noon tomorrow to accommodate those wanting to get an early swim.

Rookie question, first time for me leaving bke over night. Recommend removing bento box, under seat bag and bring everything in morning or ok to leave them on bike?

Last year I did 1/4 iron on Saturday and hung around after race. I walked to pier, around 2p and there were 6-8 folks coming out or donning wet suits to swim on their own.
